excellent Flemings hotel in mayfair
01 September 2008
The flemings hotel was faultless.
Both the service and superb breakfast were the best I have ever experienced at any hotel.
Thanks to alpharooms.com I was able to stay there for only a third of the usual price!
Highly recommended!

Highly recommended
26 August 2008
Excellent location (just off Piccadilly, next to Green Park). Full marks for cleanliness and decor, staff were extremely helpful (changing our room on arrival with minimal fuss). The only downside is some rooms are very small as the hotel was once 3 town houses, so make sure to ask.
Breakfasts are pricey but if you book B&B you can upgrade your buffet breakfast to the full monty for £2. That said, the buffet is very well stocked and may well be enough for most people.
Not much else to say really, cracking hotel, cracking location, would happily stay there again.

Superb Hotel
16 June 2008
Thank you Alpha Rooms for another great hotel and for the timely e-mail prompts letting me know my holiday was getting closer. Excellent central location for popular attractions. The royal parks just across the road make a calm oasis on a sunny day. The decor and ambience of the hotel made an initial good impression. Welcoming and friendly reception on entering and excellent service throughout our stay. Room well sized, extremely comfortable bed, high quality toiletries in bathroom and spotlessly clean. Good choice of food at breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family or in staying there again.

Top Hotel
29 May 2008
Stayed in a number of hotels in the mayfair area over the last few years and this one comes out on top. Great location just off piccadilly with easy access to all parts of central london. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Hotel just been updated and is very clean and well maintained. Would recommend this hotel to anyone for value for money. Only downside is the nearest NCP is £45 a day to park and the vodka at the hotel bar was a bit pricey but that's to be expected for the location of the hotel.

Great hotel
25 March 2008
Had an excellent stay over the Easter weekend. Staff friendly and efficient, the hotel room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and there was a good choice at breakfast time. Location was superb, right near Green Park tube station. I will be recommending The Flemmings Mayfair to anyone who asks me where to stay in London.I will definitely use this hotel again.

Fantastic Location
17 February 2008
Nice hotel, great location - could walk everywhere - excellent staff and great breakfast. Room a bit small and dark due to scaffolding erected for external refurbishment. Another downside is housekeeping staff trying to get in your room from 7.30 am! Apart from that, great place to stay.

Gem of a Hotel
11 February 2008
Excellent location in Mayfair, next to Green Park. Easily accessible from Kings Cross Rail Station on Picadilly tube line to Green Park station. Only a few hundred yards walk from there. I booked the hotel a few days before travel for a weekend away with my husband, through Alpha Rooms. What a choice! On arrival our room was upgraded free of charge to a larger double which was immaculate. The hotel was clean, bright, well maintained with extremely helpful staff. The continental breakfast, included in the price was very good with such a choice there was no need to have a full english. Overall, an excellent hotel with excellent standards. Will return without hesitation.

Yet another great stay at Flemings,Mayfair
04 December 2007
Having stayed many times at the well known hotels in central London,Flemings is welcome relief from the 'international tourist' phenomenon which dilutes the attention away from the personal service which Flemings admirably succeeds in.Even thuogh the refurbishment programme was is operation, there were no glitches in our stay.
In short, rooms of very good quality, staff very attentive, breakfast very comprehensive, catering for most tastes, and location perfect for west end,Knightsbridge, and theatreland.
Don't bother with the 'big name'hotels,Flemings is the one!

Beautiful !. We entered the room and were gobsmacked. It was contemporary but totally fitting with the age of the hotel. Spotless, friendly, efficient. Can't wait to go back.

Very pleasant two-night stay. Staff friendly, service very good, decor tidy and clean and the hotel itself has a good atmosphere. On the downside, the rooms can be very small.

07 November 2007
we like to have a couple of breaks a year in london, genrally 3 days. treid expensive and v cheap hotels. flemings is a smaller hotel, but has a great location for all the sights, and transport links. the hotel has been refurbished over the last few years and is in pretty good nick. great deal through alpha rooms, i recommend them highly as well. lastly we even had a problem with the water, and was upgraded instantly, so well done all at flemings.....

Great hotel. Superb location.
09 October 2007
This was our first trip to London to do all the touristy things and we were looking for a hotel that was both central to everything but not too expensive. The Flemings Mayfair was both these things. Situated right next to Green Park it was 2 minutes away from the nearest tube station, a 5 minute walk across the park to Buckingham Palace and within walking distance to Marble Arch and Hyde Park. The Hard Rock Cafe is just along the street and places like M&S and Starbucks are equally as close.
We booked a twin room which had two good sized beds, a large tv, fridge, sofa and wardrobe. The bedding was clean as was the room. Our only complaint would have to be the bathroom. The shower is situated over the bath with only a half glass partion surrounding it which meant every time we used it we ended up soaking the entire bathroom!
We had the buffet style breakfast as part of our package and there was a good selection to choose from.
The staff were polite and helpful at all times although be wary of asking for directions!
Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

Fantastic for many venues!
05 October 2007
My sister and I were going to see Prince at the O2 as part of her 40th birthday celebrations. This hotel was ideally located as Green Park Tube station was just 2 minutes away. Green Park Tube station has direct access to the Jubilee line (straight to the O2! and then Madame Tussards the next day) , the Piccadilly line, for Covent Garden, Knightsbridge (Harrods), etc; the Victoria line for Euston train station, etc. No hassles at all and the queen is just a five minute walk across Green Park. We fit so much in (we only stayed one night) because the location was so central. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room wasn't very big but adequate and very clean. The bathroom was spacious with bath and shower and ery clean. Buffet breakfast was included in our room which looked nice enough but we asked for Full English (which was delicious and lots of it) and only paid an extra £2 each on our room bill. Well worth it. Book with alpharooms much cheaper than anything else I'd seen and for the heart of Mayfair - superb!

Great hotel
22 August 2007
My wife and I stayed here for one night to take in a show in the west end.
Excellent location, a minutes walk from Green Park underground and only one stop away from Piccadilly and two from Leicester Square.
All the main attractions are easily accessible on foot, with Piccadilly only 5-8 minutes walk and Buckingham Palace about the same.
The rooms are very comfortable and overall we found this hotel to be a good example of a four star hotel. For good rates we found alpharooms hard to beat.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Review of Flemings Mayfair
31 July 2007
We were extremely impressed with this hotel. On previous visits to London we have walked past Flemings and always thought it out of out price range. However, the deal we got through Alpha rooms was exceptional when you look at the published tariff on reception.
The room was compact but no more than you would expect in London, very clean with lovely toiletries in the bathroom. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location, just a stroll through Green Park to Buckingham Palace. We will definately be visiting again, just hope we can get as good a deal next time. Always find alpha rooms to be reliable. many thanks for arranging the hotel for us.

Review of 'FLEMINGS MAYFAIR'
09 April 2007
Easy to find the hotel from the tube station @ Green Park. Made to feel very welcome by the reception staff - issued a free map of London. The hotel is right in the middle of Mayfair close to all the major places of interest in the city. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the front of the hotel - no noisy air condition unit to keep us awake at night (at the back)Usual tea/coffee/fridge/tv/etc in the room. Extremely clean rooms & attentive staff. Breakfast was included in the price either full english (had to wait 5 minutes for) or help yourself continental - excellent choice there then. We've stayed there twice now & i will be staying there next year when we go again. I would recommend this hotel especially for short breaks 3-4 days.

Review of 'FLEMINGS MAYFAIR'
19 November 2006
This was one of the nicest, smaller hotels I have stayed in. Fantastic location in Mayfair. Very smart, understated and most friendly. The room was very well appointed, althought the bathroom a little small. Everything that you could want for on a visit to central London. We were very impressed with the breakfast selection and dinner menues. Very good food at a very good price. We will definitely be staying at Flemmings Mayfair on our next visit. Could not really find any faults at all. My last stay in London was at the Savoy. Much prefered Flemmings, more intimate.

Review of 'FLEMINGS MAYFAIR'
16 June 2006
Top quality hotel, in all honesty we would not have been able to afford hotel of this standing booking direct, massive saving through alpha rooms. High class part of London with easy access to all amenities, close to tube, taxi rank and tour bus stop (good value tickets on open top bus). Only down side was the fact that triple room has pull out bed that was not the most comfy, other than that room, staff and food was all very good. If you are driving I would advise dropping bags at hotel and parking away from Mayfair as parking costs are very high. If you do park at local car park ask hotel reception for discount ticket when you check out. Recommended highly for couples or family with one child.

Review of 'FLEMINGS MAYFAIR'
24 April 2006
fantastic hotel!! we stayed here for three nights in april and could not fault it. the rooms, whilst small, are perfectly appointed and immaculate. the hotel staff were polite and not in your face like some hotels but were extremely helpful. we left our train tickets in the room upon check out and had to go back five hours later for them after we had realized, but there was absolutely no bother! the breakfast was excellent, with good waitresses and we got it included in our package. the hotel is ideally situated with just a 3 minute walk from green park tube station, and it cost us £7 for a cab to euston. all in all we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and definitely go back!!
