Flannerys Hotel

I would highly recommended this hotel. It is very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous loads to choose from. The hotel is not far from the city centre, 8euro in a taxi. Overall a great stay and great value for money. Look it up and book flannerys hotel!!

Excellent value hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient - also willing to go a bit further e.g. receptuon staff went to get my newspaper and sought me out in the dining room at breakfast. Bar was lively and food quality v.good. Location convenient and easy to find from airport. Only problem (nothing to do with the hotel) was Galway traffic.

The facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. The only objection I had was that the lounge, which had a notice saying residents only after 7.00pm, was used by some locals. These people were no problem, apart from 1 person who turned up drunk on our last night and was a nuisance at times in the lounge. He also approached a group of Italian tourists and pestered them from time to time. I felt that this created a bad impression of the area and the hotel in particular, although I realise that this can happen anywhere. It may help if the staff refused admission from non residents to the lounge area, particularly those who have had too much to drink.
