Great Hotel
04 November 2008
Quite simply...the BEST hotel in Benidorm bar none.
We always stay here as the service, the rooms & the food are superb. It was actually commented on by one of my group that they were extremely imperssed & as seasoned travellers remarked that the food was better than some 5* hotels in Spain..
We return to the hotel next week for fiesta time!!

Fab Hotel
29 September 2008
Stayed here last year with hubby and two other couples (friends ), usually only do 10 nights for summer break but friends wanted to go for two weeks so off we went, This hotel was so good we didnt want to come home after the two weeks, the rooms were huge as was the bathroom with shower, bath ,beadau & 2 wash hand baisins, the rooms were cleaned every day, and fresh towels given, our friends and i dont have small kids so the roof top pool and bar was like heaven, ( no kids allowed ), the reception and foyer were spotlessly clean as was the dining hall, the food was amazing, so much to choose from and carvery every single day!, i cant for the life of me understand some of the previous reviews, must be too fussy i expect, so good was this hotel we are all returning this December for another great stay at the Flamingo Oasis, definately 4star!!

Nice hotel nothing special
06 August 2008
Very nice hotel plenty to choose from food wise but have had better in 3 star hotels. Rooms are great loads of space staff are a bit miserable and alcoholic drinks are not good quality lot of watering down. Lifts are a nightmare! Plenty of sunbeds but not a lot of space the usual sados getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve their space even though there are notices to say you are not allowed to reserve beds. Entertainment the usual nothing fantastic. I think this hotel is overpriced and its the rooms that make it up to 4 star. So if you like nice rooms book it. The rest can be found in any other 3 star hotel.

Lovely hotel!
16 March 2008
Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Flamingo Oasis, myself and 7yr old. Public area's were stunning, very clean, large and airy. Food was on the whole very good apart from on one occasion where the variety of food left a lot to be desired. Entertainment however was fantastic thanks to a very dedicated, hard working entertainment team that kept both adults and children (including my 7yr old nephew) entertained both day and night, be it with the miniclub offering a daily 2 hours respite for those with children, enabling me to sample the skyline terrace which is a pool/bar terrace on the 25th floor providing spectacular views of Benidorm. Rooms were spacious and clean ours had lovely views of the pool and sea. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will definately go back again, the sooner the better!!!!

Great Hotel!
08 March 2008
We have just returned from a 4 night break at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel. We were allocated a room in the 19th floor, with great views over Benidorm. The room was really clean and spacious with a large bathroom. We found that all the staff in the hotel, especially the entertainment staff , were excellent and always helpful & polite. The food was good with a wide choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We never had to wait more that 5mins for a table even though the hotel was 95% full. The choice of drinks was also very good and of a high standard. The entertainment team do an excellent job and the standard of shows was brilliant and very entertaining. Overall we would definitely stay here again should we ever come back to Benidorm.

Best A.I Hotel In Spain
20 February 2008
The Flamingo Oasis is the 17th A. I Hotel we have stayed in in Spain and its the best by miles.
I can't understand some of the other reviews. The Hotel is clean, very well run and offers a very good choice of food and drink.
We will be going back!

House hunting trip
02 February 2008
Good first impressions of the hotel. It was being built when I lived in the area so I was looking forward to my stay. The hotel public areas and rooms were all lagre, bright and airy and our room was large with a beautiful view of the sea. The roof top terrace was an oasis and we quickly ordered our first drink which is when the dosappointment started. The spirits tasted anything but what they were supposed to be and were obviously very cheap immitations. The disappointment continued in the restaurant. I have only seen such canteen style dining in uk holiday camps and the food was anything but 4*. Uninspiring, dull and not the freshest ever, the best part was the bread and water. Breakfast didn't see an improvement either, so again, the bread won first prize.
I am disappointed as the hotel is lovely and in a decent location in town. The staff were perfectly ok but the food and drink was a big let down.

02 June 2007
We had a fantstic time in benidorm, the hotel is fantastic, and would definately reccomend it to young families, however it is not suited to young groups like us, it was too far from the main nightlife of the new town. So personally woulndt go there because of that. The food was 1st class, the rooms were good and well sized, very helpful staff and a great time! Who knows maybe when i get a family one day ill go back there but not till then!

We had a fantastic time, it was like "Home from Home".Both Staff and Guests were extreemly friendly. The Staff could not do enough for you.The Reception Team were brilliant.Dining Area exceptional.Food variation was very good, with something for everybody.Bedroom and balcony very spacious. As our first stay at this hotel all the other guests bent over backward to make sure that we had a good time. Showed us around the hotel and the resort, also where to get an authentic tapas so we could experience the real Spain. We have stayed All Inclusive before, but that did not include free water, but this hotel does. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody, and we will definitely be going there again.

10 December 2006
My partner and I stayed here last year at the same time<1st week December>. This year we were joined by 2 other couples after raving how good the hotel is.We are already talking about coming back next year at the same time. Hotel is excellent, spacious rooms, 6 lifts, helpful staff. The meals are wonderful with a great choice.Entertainment is very good with a young entertainment in-house team putting something on most nights and backed up by quality acts from outside. At least 2 shows every night. Hotel is situated about a 15 minute walk from Ambassador Playa with a very gentle incline. We booked hotel and transfers through Alpha rooms and had no problem. 7 seater spotless taxi to and from airport.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Everything about it was just amazing. The food was brilliant and plentiful. The entertainment was on throughout the day and night and I have never seen such a clean hotel in all my life. The maids were cleaning anything and everything all the time. The bedrooms were spacious even with 2 children and the towels were changed whenever you wanted them done. The maids were extremely efficient. The only bad part of this holiday was coming home! I would definately come back to the Flamingo Oasis and would recommend this to my friends and family without hesitation!

Review of 'FLAMINGO OASIS'
06 August 2006
Flamingo Oasis is a large Hotel complex located in the Rincon de Loix area of Playa Levante. The Hotel is rated 4 star and the Manager and staff appear to work very hard to keep the hotel this way. The Hotel is absolutely spotless and is constantly cleaned, the bedrooms are cleaned every day as are the public areas. The entrance, reception, veranda bar complex are very impressive as you enter - glass, marble, palms etc, there is 24-7 security which stops any messing about and there is CCTV.
The all inclusive is excellent, you are issued with a photo id card, the drinks are good, very little queing, loads of staff and the food is good, sometimes its superb! (free champagne, bottles of wine), although mid week they seem to have a couple of days where they obviously try and use everything up.
Its about a 15 min walk to the beach, past loads of shops so that it doesn`t seem very long. A taxi to the old town is 5 mins and costs 6 euros and is about a 30 -40 min walk back along the beachfront depending how fit you are.
The entertainment staff are great and work really hard, although as with everything its a nice change to getr out of the hotel and try something different. Although I booked through Alpha rooms you can book exersions at hotel reception or with any of the three tour operators who use this hotel, Thompsons, Thomas Cook and JMC. I booked with Thompsons for a trip to Valencia for 27 euros per adult.
The Pool was great as was the pool bar which also does food, loads of sun beds, staff blow a whistle at 8.30am for the charge to place them in the best spots, really funny to watch from your balcony. Adults only roof top bar and plunge pool - 25th floor great views, open till 3am non-all inclusive.
All in all an expensive but enjoyable family holiday.
The local english papers were saying that developers have built too many 4 and 5 star hotels in Benidorm and are struggling to fill them. On refelection I don`t seemed to have got a cheaper deal by booking independently on this occassion because I went first 2 weeks school holidays (although I got exactly what I wanted). Would be worth asking around at travel operators for deals, as some people seemed to have been quoted cheaper deals - perhaps to use up empty space as its so expensive to book at the brochure price.

just got back from two weeks staying at the hotel flamingo oasis and it was fantastic. there is so much to do you need to go and stay for at least a month. there is so much for the kids to do azwell. the really funny thing is you have to go down at 8am to get a sun lounger but you have to wait for them to finish clening the poolside then the guard blows a whistle and everyone runs. its the fastest you will see anyone run ever its as though someones dropped £50 notes from the sky. the food is out of this world with something for everyone. my only advice is get ready to diet when you come home as there are so many fresh cream cakes you end up putting about 5 stone in weight on. there isnt much more to say only that we will certainly be returning next year for two weeks. well worth the money. best hotel in benidorm. ***********

i would rate this hotel 100 out of 100 if i could we loved it staff were brilliant and the food was above excellent. We could not fault anything at all and despite many reviews about the entertainment being not that good we loved every minute of it and the whole team were very professional and friendly. Terra Mitica is not what you might expect, there are only 3-5 adult rides but most of the attractions are shows and there is not enough things to do for the full day, half day pass recommended. Location wise there are a few pubs and bars across the road which are very good if you want a bit of good old english food. It only takes 10 minutes to the beach and along the way there are also many shops, restaurants, bars and souvenir places.

Review of 'FLAMINGO OASIS'

This is a fantastic hotel, When you drive up to it from the road, it has an amazing foyer, and beautifull grounds, you get off the bus and walk onto marble floors which are cleaned spotless each morning, and all through the day the cleaners are going around making sure it holds its high standard of cleanliness.
There are oh i guess 12 lifts which all work efficiently all through the day. they are all smoked glass and also always clean...
in the Foyer there are televisions, shops and hairdressers, computers so you can keep in touch with home, and I think it's 2 televisions showing sport or big brother! - all fully airconditioned. The pool one of them is outside and a lovely shape, great pool side entertainment throughout the day, lots of things for the children to do and for the younger children there are the reps clubs which also entertain them and for the older children they have a games room and machines which won't bring a smile to a lot of parents faces!
The evening entertainment is good for all ages... you have a bar for adults only, which sometimes has a pianist playing in the airconditioned area.
Downstairs you have shows for the chidlren, sometimes they are inside sometimes outside on a specially build stage. they have nightly bingo and other games and each evening starts with the kids club and mini disco, its really good to see your children join in and win stuff.
They do shows and sometimes the children and audience are involved.....
What more can I saiy - oh the perfect large bathrooms with loads of room to hang clothes.... great view.... double sink, shower, bath, toilet bidet, [great for soaking your clothes!!] and huge mirror and the wardrobe has full length mirrors. Beds are confortable and the staff who clean your room get to know your habits and like to do it to your liking....
I would recommend this hotel and I have been there 5 times and going back in 29 days not that I'm counting! It is fully inclusive and all the children's needs are catered for, crazy golf, pool drinks till they can drink no more... and its safe.

Been twice. Beautiful large hotel; on the ground floor there is a lovely verandah bar as well as spacious lounge area and the 'adult only' Piano Bar. These all surround a high atrium and staircase leading down to the Restaurant, family bar and out onto the outdoor pool area.
Reastaurants: Plenty of choice and good standard of food provided on a self=service basis. You can enjoy a breakfast up to noon, followed by lunch, afternoon tea and snacks and follow up with dinner. All drinks are free and staff are, on the whole, very friendly. My favourite place is the roof top terrace for adults only. Lovely place to relax, have a drink and a quick dip in the splash pool.
Plenty of activities; holiday at the end of April was ideal as most of the entertainment was geared for adults although there were the usual kids' clubs and activities. Quizzes, bingo, demonstrations etc. Evening entertainment was of a good variety eg hypnotist. There was also a visiting tarot reader as well as a caracturist.
I would certainly go again.
VERY GOOD VALUE HOLIDAY

I loved this hotel. It was clean, spacious with everything you could want in a hotel - gym, indoor and outdoor pool, internet access etc. The dining room was well laid out so that, although very big, you didnt feel as if you were in a huge place as it was divided into smaller sections. The food was well presented with a really good choice, including a carvery most lunch times and evenings. The hotel has three bars, two with entertainment, my personal favourite being the piano bar where I felt completely at ease being on my own whilst my husband was busy watching football on the large screens in the adjoining lounge. When alls said and done Benidorm is Benidorm - you either like it or not so the hotel makes all the difference. I will definitely return there
