In Las Vegas to attend Wedding

We had a great time at The Flamingo April 2008. Everyone was helpful and pleasant - makes a welcome change! I would recommend the Flamigo to anyone.

Hotel was fine, clean and good value buffet food...... but the touts outside the elevators really bugged you, day and night. Centrally placed for the strip and O'Sheas does a great happy hour 2am till 8pm beer dollar a pint part of Flamingo group.

My husband and I stayed at The Flamingo at New Year and couldn't fault it.
The room rate was good value for the strip (great location), there were some very good restaurants/eateries (including a great take away pizza place!) and a good range of gaming in the casino to suit every budget!
We didn't try out the pool as it was Dec/Jan but it looked good!

We were correctly adviced to choose the Flamgo because of its location on the strip , although not our first choice I would recomment the Flamigo, for as stated location to the centre of Las Vegas, being a smaller hotel we felt part of the hotel nad were not lost in the vastness of of some of the larger hotels ie, Ceasars Palace or the Venetian. All the restaurants were excellent especially the buffet. Casino staff were a great help to a novice gambler and I never felt intimidated at any time. Car parking was easy, leave the car with the valets and have it waiting when required without any delay even when they were busy at the weekend. Overall I would recommend The Flamigo to anyone without reservation and will be returning in 2006.

This is a great budget hotel in a fantastic location. I stayed in the Flamingo in May of this year and overall it was a great experience. My only criticism of the hotel is that the rooms are quite dated and shabby and certainly not up to the usual Hilton standard. Other than that the hotel is clean, the casino is great and the pool is fantastic. Not quite as grand as a lot of the other Las Vegas hotels but is good value for money!!
