another good one
29 May 2008
arrived home 28th Feb. after one week in Flamingo Benidorm .this was our sixth time in this hotel and we have never been disappointed .good variety of food and great sun terrace .the walk to the beach is only 10 mins. away and down hill all the way .quite close to all the shops and bars .can not praise the reception staff enough very very helpful our rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels .people with children would not have any problems keeping them amused during the day and also something on for the kids at night .the entertainment for the adults is the norm some of it quite good i agree with one of the reviews not having a cuppa with evening meals but we brought our own down as we hired a kettle and had no bother taking it in .loads of entertainment near the hotel and some are good fun .i would Def. go again in fact just waiting for easyjet to put on Dec.flights .and now looking at Sept after the school holidays ..thanks to Claire and Anna at reception we got lots of advice . the bar staff were friendly considering the hassle they had to put up with some of the guests .it has a friendly atmosphere even though it is quite big . love the place . will be back as soon as I can find a date .

We stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm for one week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room, ours was on the 25th floor, was clean and spacious, the pool area was good as was the bar and restraunt. The food was good, the only minor complaint from me was that you couldn't get a cup of tea or coffee with your lunch or evening meals, still that wouldn't put me off going back there again. One of the reviews on here says the beach is 2 miles from the Hotel? It isn't it's just about 1 mile maybe not even that. the hotel is fairly handy for the local bars and clubs if you want to go out for some entertainment, we would recommend going to the town to see the Elderly Brothers, the Spanish Beatles and Showaddywaddy cheesy but fun and entertaining if you want a dance and a laugh, and also the Stardust where you can see the Bay city rollers and a group called timeless, they were excellent if you like Motown music. Or you could stay in the Hotel the entertainment there was pretty good as well. would we go again? yes defo.

We have just returned after 4 night stay. The hotel as a large tower, with good access for disabled, however, it is located on a slight hill a good 2 mile from beach area. The rooms are clean but in need of upgrade. The food is good with a wide choice, there is also a daily bbq at pool. If you want a space at pool you will need to be up by 0900 or youhave had it. The drinks are all local products, as normal with AI holidays. If you will put on weight as they feed you 6 times a day.

fantastic - faultless - we've just returned from 5 nights (couple 40's, group of friends 50's and two teenagers) and it was brilliant value - didnt really see much of entertainment as we normally left hotel about 10pm ish - the rooms were basic but spotless and we had fresh towels every day. will certainly return next year - maybe towards the end of march as it was still a bit cool although we did have some really hot days. reccommended

We stayed at the Flamingo in October 2006. The hotel is very clean, rooms are basic but fresh. Good sized balcony, plenty hot water. Meals very good - good variety and always hot. Snacks are mainly toasties but we didnt need these much as meal times were ideal. Entertainment was quite good most of the time. Staff were all really helpful and polite. Poolside has lots of natural shade due to trees which is lovely. Thinking of going back here during the summer. I'd definitely recommend this hotel

Have just returned from a holiday in the flamingo benidorm at halloween. There were 4 of us age 52,50,42,41 we had a great time, hotel lovely in a nice position food excellent and staff great. The only down side was 2nights before we left one of our rooms was flooded due to very heavy rain the staff werent too helpful at first but the next day we saw the manager and felt better after that. I have stayed in quite a few all inclusive hotels and i have to say this has been one of the best. They went all ouy for halloween and when the weather changed they were great at putting on entertainment day and night to keep guests entertained we would most definataly go back and would even take the grandchildren.

Review of 'Flamingo Benidorm'
01 November 2006
Stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm for a week at end of October. We had no issues with the lifts as we stayed on the first floor. Rooms were basic but large and clean (they were cleaned daily). Location of the hotel was ideal as it was away from the noisy part of benidorm but still accessible to the beach and bars if wanted. The beach was a 10min walk straight down the road or via a nice tree lined path (Avenida de Murcia). The bars and clubs were 5 min walk away. The reps (Keeley and Sarah) were excellent with the kids and there was plenty to do during the day and evening (i.e. darts, table tennis, bingo, rifle shooting, archery, quizzes, etc). The food was good, plenty of choices for kids, changed daily, but sometimes due to the buffet style, it required heating up (in the microwave provided). Overall we had a great holiday, the all inclusive aspect made it cheap and convenient, we will definitely go back.

just got back from flamingo benidorm - was a little optimistic at first as we had never been all inclusive before. The food was brilliant with a really wide choice which was suitable for children and us adults. Rooms were really clean and big - they use to be apartments apparently - so you have a small kitchen which comes in handy also the balconies are large with a great clothes airer to hang all those towels and costumes etc - on the whole had a fantastic time but have come home half a stone heavier !!!

The food is excellent with chef's choices, theme nights what more can I say. You get the advantage of an apartment whilst still being all inclusive which was great for us having a baby with us. TV as well with a couple of english channels. Beer not brill but this is our 3rd stay and will definitely book again. Hotel in a great location for nightlife as well and 5 mins from when the market is on.

We checked in to this hotel on new years eve 2005.Because we arrived early our room wasn't ready but we only had to wait 30 mins for the room. The room waws excellent plenty of space (seperate bedroom and lounge area also small kitchen area which is unusual for all inclusive. Also there were two wardrobes both double. The room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel.Very good choice of food especially breakfast, english sausage, hash browns, black pudding, mushrooms ect and obviously eat as much as you like. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped whenever they could. When I go back to Benidorm it will be this hotel i'll be staying at.

couldn't find any fault with this hotel. The whole hotel from the reception area to the bar, the dinning room, pool area and the rooms were spotless The food was really good with plenty of choice, wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, also themed nights such as Indian, italian to mention only a couple. The staff were friendly and you never waited long at the bar to get served. You could also get bottled water from the bar which was handy to keep in your room. The rooms were apartments, which had 2 single beds in the bedroom and 2 sofa beds in the lounge,a television also a fridge and the balcony was really big, with a clothes line, which was really handy.

We have spent many years going to benidorm, staying in many different hotels both 3&4star, we can honestly say that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in.from the moment we walked in the door the atmosphere was fantastic, every one was very friendly.the hotel was spotlessly clean, food excellent, drinks even better. I honestly beleive the FLAMINGO BENIDORM should be given a 5star***** Rating. My wife & I have just returned home today 24/9/05 and we have already booked to return with our family(9 people) in the new year.Need I say more, except THANKS!

Review of 'FLAMINGO BENIDORM'
16 September 2005
We first stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm 4 years ago when it was a SC establishment - this is why the rooms are so spacious and well equipped by hotel standards -with 2 rooms, fridge etc. The facilities then were very good but the upgrading to AI has proved to be an excellent move. Although the weather was very hot (early September), air conditioning throughout ensured that the rooms, bars and restaurant were all cool and comfortable. The food was of a high quality, with many options at meal times and although the hotel was busy we never once queued for a table.Special mention must be made here of the catering staff - especially Denis - who were never still, ensuring that the floors, tables and other amenities were spotless at all times. Other staff ( bars, rooms and reception etc.) were also very efficient and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was quite large enough to accomodate anyone wishing to use the facilities although we chose to spend a lot of time wandering around the streets and shops nearby with our baby daughter. The area surrounding the hotel was always busy but the hotel itself was rather tranquil - and generally quiet after midnight - important if you have a young family. In summary, the hotel is probably the best we've stayed at in Benidorm. It offers comfortable and clean facilities, excellent food with a choice of menu, easy access to the beach (about 15 minutes - although the gentle slope on returning to the hotel requires a little more stamina), and most importantly for us friendly, helpful staff. We'll certainly return soon.

The hotel was simply fantastic and catered for all needs be it young or mature. The hotel was spotlessly clean and luxurious at the same time. The staff were simply brilliant as was the food served. The hotel was ideally situated, a simnple 10 minute walk to the beach and in the middle of plenty of bars and resturants, yet at the same time was quiet and peaceful. If you fancy going to Benidorm, this is a hotel not to be missed!

This is a fantastic hotel in every way.The minute you walk through the door the bilingual staff are friendly, the lifts always work, the rooms are a dream. This is called a hotel, but in fact you get two rooms,a bedroom with huge sliding doors onto an enormous terrace with table and four chairs (there is also a useful clothes line for towels ,etc We had a brilliant view of the mountains all around, from the 21st floor ,though the second time we booked this hotel through Alpharooms we got the 11th floor ,which was great but not quite as spectacular. The bathroom is clean and has a full bath and shower. The living room has a television and the room again has sliding doors onto the terrace..There is a small kitchen, with a very useful fridge, again not usual in Spanish hotels. The pool area is ample ,the staff lovely, and there is a huge variety of meals(this is an all inclusive hotel) I would especially mention Dennis the restaurant manager who made us feel very at home(we hope to be going back very soon) All in all ,an excellent choice .About 10 mins walk to the beach but lots of bars and shops all around.Absolutely fabulous!
