Well maintained, clean and friendly hotel. Decent size rooms. Great value for money - have paid a lot more for a lot less!! Superb location: beach front yet less than a minute walk from the main bars and clubs (except BCM). Would definitely stay again.

PERFECT VEIW

01 June 2008
Me & my hubby just stayed here, may 08. Lovely clean hotel, perfect rooms and the view onto the beach is fantastic, food ok, I’m not fussy .Ideal location, hotel was very quiet, but we didn’t stay in there at all anyway, pool lovely, jacuzzis spot on! Weather not so good!

50th Birthday 'girlie' celebration

27 May 2008
Just arrived back from exellent stay at Flamboyan Caribe. Room in Caribe spacious, clean & fantastic view overlooking the bay. On BB, Breakfast good, served till 10.30 good after a late night! Location is perfect at the end of the strip & straight onto beach at front. Pool area small but who needs the pool when beach is across the prom. Reception staff very helpful as the rest of staff are. Couple nights we were woken by people returning to their rooms but this is Magaluf!! Definately recomend this hotel and would stay again.

Great times

20 May 2008
We have just got back from the Flamboyan Caribe. We had an excellent long weekend. Fantastic views of the sea and bang in the middle of the resort. Not a great venue for couples, but for a long weekend for a group of friends, the place was top class!

Mediocre

04 May 2008
Stayed at F.C just last week. Was overall quite nice however a couple minor defects were present: 1. The reception staff do not seem to speak good english 2. Rooms are very drab 3. The elevator always seems to be busy, we travelled with a disabled man who could not walk the stairs and we found people taking up the lift by going up and down 1 floor in the elevator. However, very nice location and clean. Would consider returning.

3 day short break

01 May 2008
Excellent hotel my wife and i are both 45 and we booked a sea view room for 3 nights. the view was superb and the room was very good although their are no tea or coffee making facilities. The buffet breakfast and evening meal was excellent with a wide ranging choice for all. the location of the hotel in magalluf was also excellent close enough to enjoy the night life but far enough away for complete privacy. My wife and i would absolutely recommend this hotel to all types of age groups.

what can i say, this hotel really had the lot! the location is perfect, directly overlooking the beach to the back while the front is on the start of the strip of bars shops etc etc we stayed in a 3 bed room with a sea view (which is def worth the extra few euro), the rooms is very large and the shower is fantastic, cleaned daily you couldnt ask for more. the staff were always willing to accomodate our numerous requests for use of the facilities (crazy golf, table tennis, jacuzzi, gym!!) if travelling to magaluf again i would def stay in this hotel!

Location, Location, Location!

21 April 2008
We arrived at the hotel Saturday night and were greeted by a fabulous receptionist "Diana" who made the check in process seemless. The hotel is real class with a fantastic view of the beach which is right out the back. Great little seating areas here and there if you want to sit and have a drink or two. The rooms were bright, clean and modern. Had booked including breakfast available 8/10.30 so fairly flexible. Best thing about hotel was the location! it is perfectly positioned on the T junction of Maguluf Strip with all amentiies on your door step, can't wait to go back real soon. A big thankyou to F.C

Spend your money somewhere else !

16 January 2008
I stayed here in mid August 2007, half board. It has 4* but it is not worth it, 3* are more realistic. On one side, hotel is situated on the best possible position on the beach and not far from water land. On the other, it is situated in the centre of entertainment of 18 years old drunk kids, so you can imagine how it looks like when you are coming back to the hotel in the middle of the night. Staff was very helpful and friendly, I really can only praise them. BUT Free parking?!?!?!? - Only if you rent a car through the hotel agency and for every other case you have to pay Euro 10/day. That is not all, the parking space is so small, so maybe 20 cars can fit in assuming that all are parked properly. Food - Variety very good, but it's tasteless Rooms are kept clean and the maid was very nice. Size of the room depends of the building in which you are, if it is Flamboyan then you are lucky and if it is Caribe (were we stayed) then they should pay to you since the rooms are 4x4m. And, of course, Deposit - you have to pay it for everything that crosses your mind. Remote control for TV, safe, beach towels, parking card, etc…

Late Season Review

02 November 2007
I personally would recommend this hotel to anyone. As a single traveller in his early 30's, this hotel was very clean and a smart looking place. Perfectly placed at the end of the main Magaluf strip with great views from a seaview balcony. I was staying there on a room only basis so I can't comment on the food but everything else I had no complaints whatsoever. The staff there were friendly, helpful and spoke good english. The barman, Pedro?, was entertainingly sarcastic to most. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to the hotel if back in Magalluf.

Perfect Location but...........

09 September 2007
This hotel has a great location on the beach front for daytime activities and just off the main strip for nightime fun. The fabric of the hotel is good and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. I found the food to be perfectly edible from a cooking and quality point of view but the choice was very limited, food slow to be replenished and service woefully inadequate. You even had to collect your own cutlery for each course! Would recommend this hotel if it is at the right price, we payed £100 per night per room with sea view and that is reasonable, dont pay anymore or you will be disappointed. Very little here for kids!

02 September 2007
a lovely hotel, very clean, cleaners in your room everyday.in the perfect location, rite on top of the beach and jus round the corner from all clubs, but its still quiet.we fell lucky with our room, got a spacious rom n on our last day we moved to another room and it was tiny, glad it wasnt our room for the 2 wks!only complaint weve got is that it was as though they didnt want english in the hotel, they dont really cater for the english i.e food and entertainment.and the restaurant manager very rude!!other than that its a nice relaxing hotel.

Go For It

25 May 2007
I have just returned from Flamboyan Caribe, as a mature, but not old and past it, virgin -my first time going it alone!! solo traveller, I could not have asked for more. The staff on reception where so lovely and helpfull, asuring me of 24hr security and if I was worried at any time day or night just ring reception and they would have security to me immediately, very reassuring as I did have my concerns... I stayed in the recently refurbished Caribe, the room was lovely and spacious, very clean, lovely furnishings, my balcony was huge and it was so lovely opening the patio doors and lying in bed listening to the waves in the morning...bliss The main hotel was also to a high standard, the food at meal times was totally adequate, fresh and yes there was chips and other English food for anyone with children. The location right on the beach is perfect, its towards the end of the beach so the bulk of tourists are further down. The walk along the promenade into the town took about 10 mins and it was free of young kids trying to drag you into clubs, with the offers of free drinks etc There are a cosmopolitan mixture of guests, and yes groups of single females and males, but everybody respected each other. If I could find fault I would inform you, but I couldnt, I would definately go solo again and to this hotel, fantastic value for money!!! Like I said 'Go For It'!!!

This is a lovely clean hotel, situated in the perfect location - out the front of the hotel and you are in the heart of Magaluf - out the back and you are on the beach. A lot of steps though on the beach side. Staff were not friendly with the exception of one lovely receptionist. Food was good (and I'm not easy to please in food). There was plenty of variety and plenty of food. We had one very noisy night with a group of English, presumably on a stag do, but otherwise it was fine. Would not rate this hotel as 4* but definitely 3*+

April 2007

04 May 2007
Location is amazing (if you books a sea view room) hotel rooms on the other side are quite noisy. Staff friendly, rooms lovely, good food and plenty of drink if you go all inclusive. Only thing that let it down was that some of the guests were on Stag and Hen parties, and when there are groups of 30, it got abit loud and rowdy, especially when you just want a quiet drink. Not much to do there for children under 14, an not much evening entertainment. But all in all a nice, clean hotel.

This is an excellent hotel to go to whether you are a teenager wanting the clubs and nightlife, or a more mature person who would want more peace and quiet. Once in the hotel, if you go out the front entrance you are right on the club scene, go out the back entrance and you are right on the beach. For the more mature person, if you go out for the evening and you want to get back to the hotel and avoid the pub and club reps chasing you down the street, then walk back to the hotel via the promenade. No reps there and its very safe, very well lit and hassle free! Perfect place to stay for a get away or a hen/stag night. Make sure you get a sea view otherwise I think you will be disappointed if you like to sit on the balcony with a drink. You also get the sun on your balcony with sea view. The hotel was very clean and the food was reasonbly good. I think the rates for this hotel are excellent considering the position it is in and the food included. Apart from the position (which is definitely a 5*), I would rate this hotel a 3*. One thing though, we have been to this hotel 3 times now. Twice we got a cab from the airport and the last time we hired a car. Think twice before hiring a car to this hotel as you have to pay 10 euros PER DAY to park it in the hotel car park. If you dont, you may have to park the car a long way from the hotel as the roads are full of yellow/red/blue lines which prohibit parking. A cab is much more cheaper and once at the hotel you dont really need a car (unless you want to travel round the island of course).

girls holiday april 2007

30 April 2007
We enjoyed our holiday very much nice clean rooms, food only average not really 4 star. hotel in great location on the beach and ideal for magalluf nightlife. Major concern money stolen out of our friends room you must ensure you obtain a safe as soon as you arrive, as they were not the only ones. We actually found the maid in our room at 8.45pm on returning from our tea, a little unusual as our room had been cleaned and we had not requested anything so be warned. Otherwise ok a little lacking in evening entertainment as the hotel was really busy, the bar service was slow due to only 2 staff. all in all a great holiday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After searching for a venue for our annual end of season trip I read a review of the Flamboyan Cribe and it sounded perfect for so I booked it. Having just returned today 30th April 2007 from a long weekend I can only add to the excellent reports. Location is fantastic right on the beach overlooking the beautiful bay the out of the back of the hotel is the bars and clubs to party to 6am if you are that way inclined. Food and service excellent

Very good hotel with great facilities.
The room was very roomy and had comfy beds, plenty wardrobe space, and a large terrace. The room was very clean and cleaned on a daily basis when you placed your card on the door handle. The hotel was very quiet and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. I was able to check my emails in the hotel, use the gym , and relax by the pool. There was the option for a meal and some light entertainment also. I was also able to lock my case away in the hotel until it was time to go to the airport.

Hotel was lovely and clean, food was great with lots of choice, even for those of us who are fussy eaaters!!! On the beach front which was great however if your looking for a holiday by the pool the pool here was quite small!!!! It was a short walk away from  the main strip and BCM square so was great for us....and suprisingly you could'nt here the noise from nightlife. The staff are nice and friendly and are more than happy to help and offer advice. Even at 5 o clock in the morning. Overall it was a great holiday.... we will be coming back!!!

The hotel is fantastic. Right on the beach as well as right next to the nightclub strip. As you walk out the entrance on the street you walk right into a PR inviting you to one of the nightclubs. The foods great although you have to buy drinks at dinner. The rooms are good with good AC. Honestly if your after a lad's holiday in the sun with a great nightlife, there arent much better than here. Best week of my life.

The hotel was great, clean, with a great sea view room overlooking the beach. Great location for party lovers, near all clubs and bars.

The cleaners were great and always happy, cant say the same about the restuarant staff though. food was good, but not fantastic if your vegeterain as not much variety.

if you book this hotel just remember to lock your balcony door when leaving the room as there were two couples who had all there luggage and money taken from there rooms while they were out at night.

I really enjoyed my holiday. The hotel was nice and the pool isnt that small. Enough for a  good days swim.Staff were friendly and kind. Theres a play room for little children and a jucuzzi and gym for teens n over so there is things to do throughout the day if you think its too hot to go out. The food was repetitive. The beach was beautiful and if you get a sea veiw room it is amazing when you wake up in the morning and you open the balcony door to the breeze of the sea.Theres plenty of shops and clubs around and cafes on the beach front. I would reccomend this hotel to all ages. From babies to OAP.

Didn't get the rooms we requested in the Caribe but the hotel allocated us rooms in the main hotel which where better. Have stayed at the Flamboyan many times and had large triple rooms on the first floor overlooking the sea. Hotel were very helpful trying to accomodate all 9 of us on the same floor and even managed to get a few of our rooms next to each other. Had a lovely holiday, love Magaluf and always will. Not a holiday for the faint hearted or for familites particularly but perfect for our annual girlie holiday. I've been going to Magaluf for the past 13 years and my friends did take some persuading but once they came once, they've been back every year! You get what you pay for though, stay in a good hotel like the Flamboyan which is clean and quiet but right in the middle of the action and then you can really enjoy Magaluf at its best!

Hotel was clean and adequate but its definately not a 4star as advertised.  Rooms were clean and it was worth paying the extra for the sea view.  Its a pity though that the food didnt live up to expectation. Breakfast was awful and so we ate out most days, lunch we didnt really bother with and dinner was ok , limited choices and nothing to really get excited about. I have stayed in an all inclusive in Magaluf previously and the food there was much better by far.  The entertainment in the bar lounge was also very limited, however maybe that was because it was early season?

We stayed at the flamboyan caribe from the 22/04/2006 till the 29/04/2006. The hotel was excellently located & wasn't to noisy despite its location. The rooms were nice some had poor views though but were cleaned everyday. We stayed on an all inclusive basis the drink was great & the food was fine, just a shame there wasn't much choice. The pool was nice & clean but not much room for sun loungers but that didn't mater with the beach a stones throw away & the terrace. All in all we enjoyed are stay.

Nice Hotel with friendly Staff, especially reception staff. The food had plenty of choices at every meal time. Clean towels every day. Not suitable for wheelchair clients or people with walking difficulties Magaluf is steep in places. Hotel on sea front, but Hotel steps a bit steep to get down to beach, but it is very beautiful. Entertainment is a bit limited we had none on saturday or sunday, but that was due to a booking error. I do not think that this Hotel should be a 4*, but it should be a 3*. Swimming pool very small with no poolside bar. Can be a drag going up to get a drink all the time.We still enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Location on the beach, food and rooms were reasonable but the bar service was slow. Typical all inclusive mentallity with one small bar and one member of staff most of the time and a massive queue waiting to be served. Receptionist Anna was fantastic couldn't do enough to help the others were average. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day with fresh towels but all in all my personal opinion is that 4**** hotels are what we used to expect from 3 ***  "times they are a changing".

Stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of March. I have to say I was quite impressed. The hotel is lovely and clean and our room was cleaned daily by a lovely maid who left our beds artfully decorated with our PJ's!!! The location is perfect for the bars but still quiet enough on a night. It is defintely worth the extra few quid for a sea view. I have to say it was breathtaking! The food was a lot better than i expected, plenty of variety at every meal. We were all inclusive and found nothing to complain about with either the food or drink, in fact we were surprised by the selection offered on the all inclusive package. All in all we had a lovely time at this hotel and would definitely go back.
