Built in 1830, the Fishers Hotel is situated in the heart of Pitlochry within two acres of award-winning gardens. Many attractions and activities are available from the hotel doorstep and beyond including the theatre, fishing and of course, whisky tasting. Each of the hotel's 130 bedrooms is en-suite with TV, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, wireless internet and telephone. Non-smoking rooms available on request.Dining is available in the hotel's two restaurants and three bars as well as room service. The Hotel offers three different conference/banqueting rooms accommodating from five guests to 150 people. With it’s two acres of gardens, the Fishers Hotel is well suited to holding weddings. It also has a ballroom and a license to conduct civil partnerships. There is wheelchair access as well as a guest lift and ample parking for cars and coaches. Pets are welcome.

The overall impression of this hotel is that it is was once a very grand place to stay but it is now a bit dusty and frayed round the edges carpets and decor have seen better days.Having said that our huge rather dated room on the second floor had spotless sheets and a gleaming bathroom with thick fluffy bath towels and plenty of hot water.With the chain of hotels that this one belongs to being in the hands of the receivers I can only commend the staff who are working at this stresfull time for their friendly and professional manner.I hope whoever takes over this hotel will restore it to its former grandeur,the only problem then would be we probably wouldn't be able to afford to stay in it!!We will be back.
