Fiesta Oasis Paraiso

I booked a complete trip through Alpharooms, and I wasn't expecting a lot for the money £420 (single room, inc flight) and as it's a 3 star thought it would be very basic. I was actually pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, always hot and fresh and plenty of variety. They even had fresh smoked salmon one night and I thought I was in heaven.....The downside though, is the location. There is no beach and there are limited shops in the resort. Luckily I hired a car and drove to nearby Playa De Las Americas where there was much more choice, but there is a very good bus service so getting about is no problem if you are car-less. Staff were very friendly and co-operative. I think that the hotel mainly caters for the Spanish OAP's (bless them) and the restaurant gets swarmed by them and their incessant gabble quite frequently. I think that I would probably go there again but not for a few years to give them chance to develop Playa Paraiso a bit more. On the whole though a good, clean, comfortable hotel. I have used Alpharooms many times and they have yet to disappoint me.

My wife and i have been staying at the hotel sometime in December every year for about 10 years now and it has become something to look forward to each time . Do not visit Paraiso if you expect a 18 to 30 enviroment because it is quiet compared to Los Americas but in saying that you can jump on the local autobus and taxi it back if you want to visit the nightlife in Los Americas or Los Christianos ! We use the local bars which we have to say make everybody welcome . I would recommend the Talk of the Town which is located up the hill abot 200 yards from the hotel , its a good fun place with guest singers , local acts and competitions , Nita is the owner and she makes everybody feel at home .
As for the Hotel itself we find because of its friendly atmosphere and good food  we shall keep using the Paraiso Fiesta.
