Basic but adequate

Having read a couple of previous reviews a few days before our holiday we were terrified that the holiday would be a disaster, However, when we entered room 332 we were pleasantly relieved to find that it was clean and tidy but a bit small. The bathroom had recently been refurbished and indeed the bedroom had also been recently decorated. the windows were fairly new UPVC and kept the noise of the A/C units below to a minimum. Beds were clean and comfortable and the room was made up daily with clean towells and new toiletries supplied also.
Breakfast is served at the Sunfish Cafe a few doors away and although not much variety of food it was plentifull.
The hotel is about 25 mins walk to the beach and Old Town,but was really handy for the train station when we wanted to take trips to Cannes and Monte Carlo. As a base to explore the French Riviera it is more than adequate.
