Booked Eurotel on net for 2night stayover - pleasantly surprised by location - map on hotel website not accurate (stay on N125 till you see it [huge sign on building] on your left if travelling towards Spain) - pool very nice - whole place looks slightly rundown - staff excellent - breakfast continental and simple - evening meal (buffet style) was excellent value but was not gourmet - room very 1970's and very dark wood - everything worked in room (inc fridge, safe, shower & a/con) - ideal base hotel for exploring Tavira & East Algarve/Spain - will use again - about 30/40 mins from Faro airport - plenty of shady parking in under-used safe private car park in grounds. Top value for money.

I was very pleasantly surprised as I drove up to the hotel.
Inside was quiet, clean and cool after the 27c outside. My room had 2 beds close together, everything in the room was pleasing to me. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom light had a life of it's own, going off and on as it wished. The breakfast and the room it was in was first class, plenty of choice and beautifully clean and neat. The sun on a morning there was great, sitting in it was a pleasure. There is a pool with plenty of loungers and shades. I can recommend this hotel and should I return to Portugal I shall centainly go there again. For value I would rate it as very good.
