What our customers say
Just back from one night in Rome. Stayed 8th/9th June at the Eurostars International Palace. The location is very good for travel. I did a walking tour of Rome. 3 hours in a very hot day!. The hotel was very clean. The shower was the biggest I have been in. Watch out for the jet shooting out over the floor. Bathroom was new? and room appears recently decorated. The hotel is under going re-furb but that did not effect any guests. For the negatives... The room was the smallest I have been in. There was no where to put your suitcase. With 2 people in the room, one had to stand in the doorway. Bed was usual european hard. Half the wardrobe was blocked by a bed side table. The phone in the room had to go on the floor under the table for room for a glass! The air conditioning was insuffiencient, Rome was very warm. When requesting an iron when getting ready to go out, there was not one. The house maid had gone home with the keys. I looked rather crumpled. For a 4X Hotel I thought this was a mininum? A little quirk was that my euro adaptor would not fit the sockets? 10 Euros to hire one!!! As for the price, Alpha rooms again came out top. The metro is great value for money. If going from the airport to the hotel and there are plenty of you in the taxi, it costs approx 30 euros. Dont go back to the airport to early. Nothing there!!
