What our customers say
We read a lot reviews about this place actually after we bought a last minute ticket. Having returned from a weeks holiday there a few hours ago I can tell you that the place is value for money. First up the is clean, the salt water swimming pools are as clean and as well kept as any. Yes were eaten by mosquitos but that isnt the hotels fault it goes with the geography (why not buy yourself a mosquito net before you leave home?). The nearest beach is a short wal into town but you can swim in chrystal clear waters of the sea within the hotel site.
The food was ok genrally good. I am of the opinion if you fill your plate with a little bit of everything (like a lot of people seem to do) you will always find things you dont like. Why not try a walk up and down the choices first and pick a few items that constitute a meal you will be far more satisfied with less.
We like many others took an all inclusive deal we didnt drink much (my wife is pregnant) the local beer is ok, its not world class its a lager, you can drink as much of this Raki and Ouzo as you like. Soft drinks fizzy drinks, tea and coffee are readily available all day long and this included in the price.
Both my wife and I speak a few languages I can tell you the hotel last week included, British, Germans (though not that many of either), Polish, Czechs, Russians, there were Dutch, French, Spanish, Roumainans, Hungarians, Belgians as well as Swedes. I would say that it was a very mixed bag. With so many different nationals (and all having different native languages) the entertainment is in German and English, some signage is English, German and Polish, the food is labelled in Greek, English and German. Some reviews we read said the hotel was predominantly German which is incorrect.
We were well recieved when we arrived two very nice ladies welcomed us at the hotel reception and spoke to us in very professional English. Having read some reviews about this place we expected faulty towers.
I am sure if you took every internet review to heart you would avoid most hotels. So our executive summary is you get what you pay for and for what you pay you get a no-nonsense low budget holiday in the sun.
