Myself, two friends and 3 kids aged 9, 6 and 4, stayed at the Entreplayas 2 in one of the large apartments with two bedrooms. We couldn't fault the apartment inside with all of the self catering equipment you'd need and it was nipping clean. However it was up the top of a very steep bank so it was a little hard on the youngest kid and would be no good at all for an older person. This also meant to access any shops or restaurants it was a trek down to the bay each time. Also as the apartment block is mostly for residents they were very strict when it came to how you used the pool, no floats or lilos, no food or drink and we had to keep the children very quiet. We tended to go to the beach. When we arrived we climbed the hill to the apartments to find there was no reception or anyone to get our keys from, there was nothing in our paperwork about picking up keys elsewhere. After 3 hours and many phone calls to UK it became clear we had to taxi from Cala Finestrat to the very far end of New Town Benidorm to Foties Vacancies for keys and to leave a deposit. After a 26 euro taxi ride we finally had our keys and also found out that Alpharooms hadn't put our reservation through to Foties Vacancies until that afternoon after I had rang them, I saw the email to see prove this. We were only lucky there was an apartment free to accommodate us and that we arrived in the afternoon while this office was open or we would have been staying on the beach! All in all the holiday was fab and the apartments were great, but Alpharooms need to ensure they make reservations and inform customers what the processes for key collection are!
