My partner and I stayed at the El Pinar Aparthotel for 4 nights from the 21st August 2008.
There are two buildings, the aparthotel where the reception and most of the facilities are located and the hotel which is mainly accommodation and is just over the road.
We had a sea view room which looked over the beautiful bay of Cala Llonga. The room was basic but adequate and benefited from having a mini kitchen which was good for storing drinks and preparing basic meals.
The TV (10 euro deposit) had a couple of international news channels to keep up with the news.
Reception was always staffed and everything we needed from taxi booking to local advice was provided.
The hotel had a really nice pool area, a bar that also sold supermarket type drinks and snacks, an inside and outdoor dining area all with sea views, an extensive menu and entertainment most nights of the sort one expects in holiday resorts.
The hotel was quiet as is the resort, certainly in comparison to other resorts across the island.
The hotel is very close to the beach, with a short climb up to the hotel, but not enough to prevent you from nipping back to the room. There is level access into the reception and a lift to all floors and level access into the rooms.
The shops and restaurants of the resort are only a few minutes walk away.
Just across the bay is the ferry port with regular and low cost boats to Ibiza town, St Eulalia and Es Cana.
People staying at the hotel were couples and young families.
I would definetly reccomend the hotel and the resort.
