I spent 4 very enjoyable days at the El Greco Hotel.  Although the hotel is fairly basic, the rooms were pleasant and the air conditioning very welcome!  It is situated in a quiet area but a short walk from the beaches and local amenities.  The staff were helpful, although the standard of English was variable. Surprisingly there were no other English holidaymakers in the hotel at the same time as me and it seemed very popular with Spanish travellers which I guess is a good sign. There is a swimming pool with gardens around it and although it looked very nice, the lure of the beach was too much for me! The only disappointment was that it was a good half hour walk to the harbour which is the best place to go for dinner and a wander, but the walk is easy and not too arduous. All in all a good choice for a relaxing and reasonably priced holiday.
