Felt like home 18 March 2008 We travel quite a bit, and usually stay elsewhere. We picked Eastgate Towers this trip because the location was near family. We all loved this hotel and will come back whenever we return to NY. There are few rooms on each floor giving it more of a small apartment feel than a hotel. The Junior Suites were perfect for our stay, the rooms were very clean and we loved the bonus of a small kitchen. The location is great, close to grocery, deli, cafe, with more of a neighbourhood feel than most. The area is safe enough that our kids (16 & 17) could walk to the store at night for snacks. The beds weren't as comfortable as we're used to but were good enough. Relatives who met us in NY stayed at a very high end hotel, their room was half the size of ours, they left and will be staying at Eastgate Towers next time. Review of 'EASTGATE TOWER' 20 December 2005 I recently stayed in the Eastgate Towers Hotel along with my fiance and it was great. Our room was so spacious and having a kitchen was very convenient. The location of this hotel is very central with all my favourite things to do within walking distance. The hotel is very well kept and clean and staff are amazing, anything they could possibly help you with they'd do. The restaurant in this hotel is beautiful all food cooked to prefection. Welcoming Comfort at 'EASTGATE TOWER' 02 August 2005 As a fairly regular solo visitor to New York, I found that hotel prices have risen significantly lately. I was looking for good value, comfort and convenience in the high season of July. I found all those things and more at Eastgate Tower. From the moment of my arrival to getting a taxi on my departure 3 days later, I found the staff welcoming and helpful. My studio room, with kitchen was spacious and airy - such a surprise in this city of miniscule hotel rooms. There is a constant buzz of activity in the foyer but it is not noisy or harried; it just made me feel secure and part of a lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere. Its location makes walking to many sites and shops easy. As for public transport, buses are more convenient than the subway from Eastgate and I had no trouble getting out and about. On my departure the concierge could not have been more helpful and his wish that I would return again will surely come true! The only negative I experienced was the sometimes long wait for an elevator. If I could I would rate Eastgate Tower at 4.7. Vicki Nash, Limerick, Ireland Solo Traveller

Review of 'EASTGATE TOWER'

I recently stayed in the Eastgate Towers Hotel along with my fiance and it was great. Our room was so spacious and having a kitchen was very convenient. The location of this hotel is very central with all my favourite things to do within walking distance. The hotel is very well kept and clean and staff are amazing, anything they could possibly help you with they'd do. The restaurant in this hotel is beautiful all food cooked to prefection.
