Nice little hotel, friendly staff, all English speaking and very helpful. Walking distance to central station (Hauptbahnoff), tram stop 5 mins walk away, and the main shopping area is less than a 10 minute walk (out the door, turn right, take your third right turn). Great cocktail bar round the corner with cheap cocktails, we went there several times before realising it was a gay bar - who cares, the drinks were cheap and had a kick! The Dusseldorf tower is a 4 stops on the tram away, and then you can walk along the Rhine, and back through the old town. The rooms were small and basic, but they were clean and cleaned every day. We requested a high floor with a view and that's what we got - THANKS. Thought it was a decent place, would sty there again and recommend it. Don't expect baked beans at the breakfast buffet though!
