Hotel terminus, Carcassonne

Nice Hotel & well presented, Staff freindly and helpfull. We could not check in until 5.00 pm even though we arrived at 10.30 a.m but we were able to leave our bags in the reception area. Room 236 is a poor room to live in for 2 weeks as we did, it's noisey due to the room backing onto a night bar. The swimming pool and fitness suite are expensive at 10 euro's each even if you are a resident and their bike hire is 5 euro's per hour per person which we feel is rather a lot. The meals are of good quaility if a little on the expensive side. On the whole a good hotel but not much in the way of things to do, no garden or patio area. Carcassonne is a lovely place to visit especially the OLD CITY, transport links are good but car hire is essential if you wish to explore all of the local villages, we did not hire a car and decided to use the train service, this was excellent but the local bus service to other destinations was a little scarce. The service from Aplharooms was excellent and we would recommend them to anyone.
