was very impressed

28 June 2009
our 2nd visit to disney,1st to the dream castle,we loved this hotel, the staff were so nice to us, esp one called eric who was very helpful. i asked to borrow an iron, they also sent up an ironing board as well!it was a very clean hotel, and what you see in the pictures is what you get.the only complaint we had was the price of drinks in the vending machines 3€! also 7€a pint of larger in the bar, extortion prices. there is a supermarket in the train station when you come out of the parks for afraction of the prices. we travelled with my parents, both 70, my niece 17,our son 6, and we really enjoyed our stay, and would recomend the dream castle for any age group. maybe if they had some entertainment at night it might encourage more people to use the bar.

Nice...but not a 4 star!!

26 June 2009
This hotel was nice, kid friendly, and very nice staff. However, the rooms did not look 4 star! It was small, the bed was lumpy, the fridge was not cold at all, and the pillows were flat. It was a simple basic room. No alarm clock. The pool was small and maybe 3 feet on the deep end, great for children. On the brighter side, the rooms were clean, breakfast was awesome, dinner buffet was really good too, but very expensive, worth it!

Dreamy castle

25 June 2009
We booked the Dream castle for 6 nights and every night we had a fantastic sleep. The beds were so comfortable and every day after being out the room was done up for us again nice and fresh and beds made and clean towels. There is also a place where you can pay to get a massage done and it was needed after the long days!! The staff were very very friendly and very helpfull in the hotel. It was really easy to get from the airport to the hotel and a free shuttle brought you to Disneyland every 10 minutes. But becarefull some times during the day, 1 out of 2 busses goes to the castle so make sure to ask the driver. Other than that it was all great we will be going back there to dream castle and we will also be booking with alpharooms again as they were great value!! Thanks for everything.

Good choice!

06 June 2009
Modern, clean hotel with helpful staff. Bedroom was a bit on the small side (and we only had one child) but you don't spend much time there anyway! Breakfast always pretty busy but well organised and plenty of choice. Kettle in bedroom but €6 charge to refill the tea bags, coffee, UHT milk, paper cups etc. so bring your own! (and there are no biscuits or spoons!). There is a small (empty) fridge in the room which you are free to use. Free shuttle bus really does only take about 5 mins to parks and they come so frequently during the day. Better standard of accommodtaion than Disney 4* hotels and not as busy - better value for money!

Excellent visit

28 May 2009
This was our second stay at this hotel, 4nights, two kids age 3 and 6 plus two adults. It has improved immensely in my opinion in the last 12months. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were on fourth floor (not ground floor like last year) room was bigger, great view of gardens and lake at back, also quieter than ground floor. Electric kettle and fridge in room. Great for that cup of tea and coffee that is badly needed at the end of the evening. Fridge great if you have to bring own food supply for fussy eater. We didn't eat at hotel for dinner (we did last year and it was fabulous) this year decided to eat at parks and save funds, but it was nice to have the choice of a break from chips/salad/burger etc. if required. Pool at basement (didn't use) and huge gardens for running around. Also younger child LOVED the play area in foyer of hotel, ball pool and mini carousel etc. Great to get away from Disney noise and bustle as she had enough by mid afternoon. Hubby wants to try Explorers hotel on next visit, if we return, but I love this hotel, it accommodates all family easily and the space enables a few minutes peace while kids can be entertained in foyer etc, for Mammy :). Agree with previous review, I was also suspicious as got such a great price from alpharooms (booked via different hotel website last year and was so much cheaper this year compared to other site I used, ended up cancelling my booking with other site to avail of good price from alpharooms!). Bring tea and coffee and I discovered on our last day you can buy large or small milks in shop downstairs, we brought our own uht milk from home but ran out. Also if you are stuck for food and staving there is a handy sandwich machine in foyer as well as sweets/snacks. Useful if you skip dinner and end up feeling peckish at nighttime.

Dream Hotel

02 April 2009
This is a great hotel. Got such a good deal from Alpharooms that I was suspicious but having stayed in a number of Disney hotels I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this one. Superb room, helpful staff, frequent shuttle bus, great breakfast.... However: *Take tea bags, milk etc. (There is a fridge in room.) They will charge you for these otherwise. *Take swimming towels.(There is a charge to use theirs) *Don't have supper in the Restaurant. Although the food was good it was very expensive. Have a good trip!

We have just arrived home after staying in this hotel for 3 nights. In my opinion its the best we have stayed in at disneyland, we are regular visitors of Disneyland and have stayed at the following hotel: Newport Bay, Sequia Lodge, Cheyuene, My explorers, kyriad. The breakfeast in this hotel was the greatest by far, you have a choice of continental or bacon with eggs sausage and beans. Or you can have a bit of both. The evening meal was expensive but well worth the money, the slad bar is exceptional, and the main course was great, they had whole lamb shanks the night we ate. The deserts are very inviting with a huge choice. Staff were very helpfull and friendly, hotel was spotless and clean, and rooms were luxurious and clean. Also quite spacious. Lots to do in the hotel for both adults and children. I will be ruturning to this hotel witout a doubt. Highly reccomended.

Fantastic

10 March 2009
Stayed 3nights and 4days. Staff were proffessional and friendly. Hotel was convenient, clean, bright, spacious. The rooms were also the same. Missing one star for having to pay for tea in the room and towels at the swimming pool also restaraunt was too pricey. Bus to park and train station was frequent, convenient and free. Bus to shopping outlet cost €5 per person for a return ticket which was well worth it as hotel phoned and booked it when we were ready and the welcome centre at outlet done the same when we were ready to return .Would definately return to this hotel.

Great Trip

06 March 2009
Great deal from Alpharooms and a great hotel. We stayed for 3nts and have a little girl of 2 and she loved the play area and swimming pool. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and a lovely shower. Bus to Disney runs every 10-20mins depending on the time of the day, it can be busy but as long as yu stad your ground you should be ok. Breakfast is proberly the best your going to get when staying outside of the Disney hotels with a choice of fried breakfast or continental. Loads of tables so you will not have to wait, unlike most hotels but once again it can be a bit of a free for all when getting your food. To sum this hotel up, convenient, clean, family friendly and great access to the parks and Paris. We will be going back again in September 2009.

Our Disneyland Paris Adventure!

25 February 2009
My husband didn't fancy this holiday so it was the first time I had taken my girls (age 11 and 16) abroad on my own. We really loved the hotel - the foyer area was great, staff helpful and friendly, room was really spacious and comfortable, buffet breakfast had a wide range of choices and getting to the park on the shuttle bus was so easy and quick. I had read other reviews so took my own coffee but should have taken some plastic mugs and a teaspoon! The only disappointment was the evening buffet which seems very overpriced with the current poor exchange rate and is no good for children who are fussy eaters. My daughter only ate a bread roll - pretty pricey at 15 euros! Other than that we had a great time and would reccomend this hotel to others.

Really great hotel, clean friendly staff and rooms have double Queen beds. Close distance to the parks and breakfast ideal. Only gripe was that the reception service was very slow and some of the childrens rides in the hotel didnt work but because a different company serviced them and the hotel staff couldnt assist much.

would defo go back

12 February 2009
would defo go back to this hotel staff were very friendly check in and out was quick. the only one thing was the dinner in the muskateers restraunt it was quite expensive and there wasn't much in the buffet that we ate. it cost us 102. euro for two adults and two children, and the children only ate a sausage but don't let this put you off as the rest of the hotel was brilliant the breakfast was excellelt too. . the pool was brillant for the kids to entertain them when there not at the park. not much else to say other tan thumbs up!!!

Family Trip

20 January 2009
Great Hotel, bus to Disneyland every 10-15 minutes, journey time only about 3-5 minutes. Very well kept hotel, good standards, pool has a shallow end (about 12" deep) for young kids which is walled off from the main pool. Breakfast is nice, usual continental plus hot beans, bacon and fried potatoes. Free parking, probably the joint-best of the hotels not owned by disney, along with the Holiday Inn beside.

Very good for the money

07 January 2009
We go to disney a lot and stay at a different hotel each time depending on prices. It was our first stay at the Dream Castle, we stayed for 4 nights. I thought it was relaxed and quite good for a disney hotel. It had good sized beds, a decent breakfast was offered, (lots are only continental). I thought the small ball pit was good for the young ones but all the other activities were pay for play things. The pool was a bit cold and you had to take your own towels else there's a charge. It was less impressive than the photos! The rooms seemed well sound proofed so no crying babies to keep you awake or early risers disurbing the one morning you may lie in till 8! The closeness to the park was fab and we would stay here again.

Good value

02 January 2009
This is a four star hotel and you will find the rooms to be a good size and of a good quality. The breakfast buffet has a good and wide choice although if you are there during school holidays at peak time (1 hour befor the parks open) it is crowded. The shuttle service takes around 5 minutes to the disney parks and runs frequently enough. It is a good choice of hotel as you don't pay the price of a Disney hotel but get all the location benefits On the downside there are a few things that the hotel could do better. The fitness room is ok but is very warm as it is next door to the spa. I didn't try the pool - it didn't look too inviting with not much room to swim. The restaurant for dinner is normally a buffet and they were advertising it at 30Euros a head. There are much better deals in Disney Village (although you won't find things to be cheap here either but that is to be expected). The bar offers an evening snack menu but it is just a sandwich and bowl of crisps or nachos. This is fine but if you wanted something hot try eleswhere. One more thing your tea/coffee tray does not get replenished so just remember to take your own supplies if need be.

3 night stay at Dream Castle

31 October 2008
Excellent!! Just got back from a short break at Euro it was brilliant. We went in a party of 12 with a mixed age group of children from 5years to 15years and everyone loved it including adults!!! Hotel is lovely and clean, room spacious with very comfortable beds!! great shuttle bus service every 5 minutes to and from hotel. Tip - get up early for breakfast as after 8 am queues build up and be prepared to queue for rides in Disney. All the hotels are situated very close to each other and look similar standard and the park doesn't close until 10.00pm so you don't spend too much time in hotel anyway - Halloween is a great time to go my son says best hol ever!!

Holiday to Disneyland Paris -25.08/29.08.08

13 September 2008
Myself and my 6 yr old son have recently got back frm Disneyland Paris. We stayed at DreamCastle for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful!! It started off shakey, where we had to change our key cards three times, as the first two would not work!! Very clean hotel. We stayed in a twin room...room was Very spacious!! TV in the room, with a mini fridge. TV hardly had any english channels! We were told that a few of the childrens channels were in english....this was incorrect! Safe box in the room, which was great! The food at the hotel was a let down, and the main restaurant is open only in the evening. Food is very expensive, and for the price you are paying you would expect better quality! Especially from a 4 star hotel! The pool is nice, but small and the water is very cold! Cute little slide, ideal for young children! My son loved it in the pool!! The Thai massage room's aren't what they look like on the web page, however I did go for one, and i found the room very small, but still pleasent! For 1 hour it cost 75 euros....expensive, but if you want to be pampered, I would recommend it! Gift shop based in the hotel, which was great, especially if you need to buy last bits and bobs, only down fall was they weren't open according to their opening time!! Hotel is 5 mins away from the resort, and the shuttles pick you up and drop you off right outside, which was very good! Overall, we had a great stay! Staff were very polite and very pleasent! I would recommend this hotel, and I would return!! Only thing I would say, is to eat at Disney Village, next to the resort, where the food is slightly better! Or even at the resort, unfortunatly albeit pricey, but better than the hotel food! And if nothing is available there, they have a macdonalds at Disney Village, where a lot of the english tourists went to eat!!

Not that great, not good either.

04 September 2008
Room was clean, room service was speedy, staff were helpful but everything was overpriced - there was a charge to use towels to swim, you had to pay if you wanted tea or coffee sachets in your room, there was a immediate charge of 10 euros per room service order, the swimming pool was miniscule, the check in-out que was slow, the shuttle bus was infrequent and overcrowded overall - it is okay, but definitely not worth the money you pay to stay there.

Short Break at Eurodisney Paris

18 August 2008
I was torn between booking this hotel or the Explorer Hotel. The Explorer looked more child friendly and the pool looked better but in the end I opted for Dream Castle because it just looked liked a better standard of hotel and I thought after spending all day at disney, the kids would probably not get the use out of the play facilities in any case. I am so glad I did because everything from checking in to checking out was first class. The staff were extremely efficient and the hotel and bedrooms were spacious and clean, there was lots of outdoor space, lovely outdoor seating areas and the shuttle bus service was frequent. Although the pool was smaller, it did have a small slide and was more than satisfactory for the kids. The staff had it down to a tee at breakfast, allocating tables to guests as soon as they arrived and the breakfast was spot on - plenty of choice for all palates. The only downside was there was only one restaurant and it was a buffet style meal at 29 euros for adults and 15 euros for kids which was expensive, although they did do bar meals up until the restaurant opened (6.30pm) which were more realistically priced, so I would suggest you eat out rather than in the hotel. I did go and have a look at the Explorers hotel just to satisfy myself I had made the right decision as it was only next door to the Dream Castle and although it did have more play facilities for children, some of them were broken and looked generally tired , the rooms looked basic and there was hardly anywhere to sit outside. It was my first time at Eurodisney and I spent a lot of time pondering over which hotel to stay at and which was closest, etc. Had I known the layout I wouldn't have spent so much time as all the associated disney hotel and the actual disney park hotels are practically next door to each other.

Short break

09 August 2008
This was our second stay at this hotel and would recommend it. Staff really friendly and have excellent english. Rooms really clean, plenty to do in hotel for children eg. swimming pool and games room. Excellent location, free buses to Disney which get really packed but every 10 mins so you can always wait for next one. Also free bus to train station which takes approx 30 mins to Paris. Breakfast was great but really busy only to be expected in hotel this size I suppose but was really well organised. Only downside, although you get a kettle in your room you have to pay for hospitality tray so pack cups/tea/sugar/long life milk etc to cut down on costs. Will be staying here again i'm sure so convenient.

nice hotel

14 July 2008
we had a delay at check in wen the trainee on the desk said the computers were down, but 10 mins later when manager appeared and shouted, suddenly we were checked in and the computer miraculously fixed. Luckily this was the only downside of an otherwise ovely stay. The room was lovely, relly spacious, the girls argued over the top bunk! The bar prices were extortionate, but the breakfast buffet was lovely, as were the gardens. Would advise to pack a kettle as there are no tea making facilities, but there is a hairrier, soap, shampoo etc. Overall a really nice experience.

Exellent hotel, the staff were friendly the family room was large with two massive bunks and a king size bed. Kids TV on Disney Channel and Network , buses to park very regular. We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Dream Castle Hotel. We are two adults with a 15 and 11 year old boys. Hotel room was great - very clean, 2 double beds. . There was alot of choice at breakfast. The bacon , scramble egg and beans didn't look pleasing. The facilities in the hotel weren't to bad. We had buffet in the evening which was expensive at €29 adult and €15 child, which was not very appetizing. Also alcohol was very expensive but that was expected. The buses that run to Disneyland are fantastic, they were very frequent. also bein so close to a massive shoppin centre in Val d'Europe was very handy as we just got drink there and brought back to our room.

Family holiday to Disneyland Paris

29 May 2008
Great Hotel, just what you need for Disney. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Staff were helpful. Public areas again were clean. Breakfast was average to good, but considering that everyone want's feeding at more or less the same time in a 400 room hotel they were organised and you did not have to wait for food to be put out. Small pool, but most people did not use it so it was fine. Buses to Disney were regular and even if they were busy it only took about 5 minutes to get there. If your'e B&B like we were, we opted to go to Disney Village for evening meals, usually before we came back to the hotel from the parks. Would recommend it!

Superb hotel, stay there and book thru Alpha Rooms as the price is great. Move over Disney Hotels, Dream Castle is the place to stay!

17 May 2008
Myself and my boyfriend are just back from a 2 night stay in the Dream Castle and had such a wonderful time. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, huge beds, mini fridge, tv and to top it off have L'Octaine toiletries in the bathrooms (which is paradise for the girls!!) The buffet breckfast in the mornings is brilliant with a huge variety of choice (even the coffee from the machines is yummy) The free shuttle bus to Disneyland takes between 5 and 10 minutes to get to the parks from the hotel door and is very regular. At certain times of the day a coach also leaves for CDG airport which is an added bonus. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous and so peaceful. Although we did not eat in the hotel restaurant the menu seemed to vary themes each night which is great if you are staying a few nighs and don't fancy eating the same food night after night. Overall this is a wonderful hotel which I would recommend to everyone of all ages from 0-100 years.

Review of Dream Castle

11 April 2008
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Dream Castle Hotel. We are two adults with a 4 year old and 8 mth old baby. We had a lovely stay. Hotel room was great - very clean, huge bed, and my daughter loved the little bunk bed for her with curtain in family room. Reception was great for young kids with loads of things for them to play with. Bus to Disney parks was extremely regular. We didn't have to wait at all on any day or at either end. Only criticisms of hotel was that the breakfast was down stairs from reception and we had to carry our buggy for baby down the stairs each morning as we were going straight off to park after breakfast. The only lift down was in opposite wing of hotel. Also, the hotel was very pricey for food and drinks and food wasn't particularly great. We were also disappointed that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in room - in fact I was banking on a kettle for making my baby's bottles of milk! And finally the swimming pool while great for kids was really cold!

First class hotel. Easy check in, room spacious and bunks great for kids. Good choice for breakfast - but busy about 9.30am...so head down early! Bus to park frequent and efficient...also you can use Disney carpark with room key at no charge, however walk from carparks at Disney further than from bus station! Bar prices steep but not unusual for this standard of hotel, and bar very nice. Pool small but ideal for kids, shallow without deep end. We will return again.

Myself and a friend, both aged21, stayed in the Dream Castle for 4 nights in late January 08. we found the hotel to be lovely, the choice at breakfast was brilliant and very tasty. the facilities in the hotel were excellent, however the pool was very small. the one criticism we had was the price of the buffet in the evenin, €30 for the buffet which had a different theme each night, we did not enjoy this. also alcohol was very expensive. the rooms were very spacious and clean but did very cold at night, one night we had to ask at reception for another blanket. the buses that run to Disneyland are fantastic, they were very frequent. also bein so close to a massive shoppin centre in Val d'Europe was very handy as we just got food there and brought it abck to the room. the staff were very friendly and had ok english. If i was returning to paris or Disney i would definately stay here and would also recommend it to other, espically those with small children as its very child friendly and disney orientated, there is also a Disney shop in the hotel.

Dream Castle in January

12 January 2008
I stayed in the Dream Castle over a 4 night period in January. I found the Hotel very comforting and very well laid out. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast in the mornings was very nice. It was never 2 busy probably due to the time of the year. The shuttle buses to disneyland were very frequent and picked you up right outside the hotel. The only things i disliked about the Hotel were the cost of drinks, food etc. in the bar i.e 4.50 euro for a cup of tea and 7.50 for a pint. There was also only 1 english channel (BBC World) on the T.V. but that didn't bother me 2 much as we were always out and about. I would recommend this Hotel.

myself my husband and son aged 12 and daughter aged 9 stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It is a beautiful hotel closely located to eurodisney with a convenient shuttle bus to take you there. We found the hotel very clean and the staff were friendly. We would definitely come again. highly recommended.

A Disney Dream cometrue

29 August 2007
I went with my teenage sister (16) and friend (we're both 21) for 4 nights and 5 days from the 9th - 13th of July. It is a great hotel, and staff were extremely helpful and delightful also. Breakfast was good, but one must go at the right time as it may get pack during 9 - 11am. Shuttle wasn't a problem, it just reminds me as a Londoner how the rush hour is on a weekday on the London underground. There were afew minor mishaps. For instance there wasn't a local pharmacy and you had to take the train to Val d'Europe, one stop from Marne La Vallee to get to the closes one. There ambience was beautiful, many greenery scenery and window view was tremendous. Pool was very disappoining, too small and packed AND closes at 9pm. All in all the hotel was good apart from me losing park tickets and feeling ill for most of the time. But I'm definately going again next spring.

Very good hotel

29 July 2007
Stayed at the Dream Castle Hotel for 10 days. V. good hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Breakfasts good, but can be a nightmare due to the numbers of people all trying to get food at the same time. Hotel will cash travellers cheques, but only certain staff members can do it (tough luck if they're not on duty), and sometimes they only have a limited amount of cash. Shuttle bus is a nightmare - you have to learn a few tricks to get on (e.g. stand where you can get on the front of the bus). It's the same coming back from the Parks - you really must get into the routine of shoving your way on to the bus. Rooms at the hotel are nice and big - beds not really that comfortable; same with the pillows if you're used to comfort. All in all, however, a very pleasurable stay with the added magic of Disney.

DREAM CASTLE

26 July 2007
Stayed at the Dream Castle for 1 week 16th - 23rd July 2007 - Lovely clean hotel. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Rooms cleaned daily and are immaculate. The breakfast got a little boring after the 3rd day though. The free buses every 15 - 20 mins were superb for Disneyland. They stop at the bus station/train station which is right beside the Disney parks. Disney Village doesnt require ''passes'' and is good for food and shopping. Overall, this hotel and location are excellent.

Dream of a hotel

10 April 2007
We arrived on Friday 6th of April 2007 for a 3 night stay. What can we say, it was absolutely amazing. Our daughters (13 and 6 ) loved every minute of the break. We went into Paris the 1st day and went to the Disney Park on the 2nd. The shuttle bus from the hotel was great, however, it was very busy and if you don't push on like everyone else you may be left standing. The hotel is outstanding in service, cleanliness, helpfulness and facilities. The location is great as you are only the short free shuttle bus (every 20 minutes) away from the park and main railway line. We would recommend this hotel very highly.

Review of 'DREAM CASTLE'

19 January 2007
In an attempt to keep the costs to a minimum, my partner and I checked ourselves into the "Movenpick Dream Castle" for a 3 night break to Disneyland Paris. Not only did it save us a fair bit of money but it still let us have the 'Disney magic' we were craving. Our room was light and spacious with a large, inviting bed. One of the best things about the hotel - apart from the excellent theming was the spa. After a day of walking through the Parks and Village, a jacuzzi was well needed! The breakfast buffet was outstanding and free shuttle buses both to and from the resort were two highlights - not to mention the courteous staff. So if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to a hotel in the resort itself, Movenpick Dream Castle really does have it all for a 'happily ever after' holiday!

Review of 'DREAM CASTLE'

03 January 2007
This is an excellent hotel for families visiting Disneyland Paris.  Rooms are of a great size, with full size baths (often not found in Europe), fridge, full length mirror and a good hair dryer!  Only disappointment was the lack of tea & coffee making facilities in the room.
Public areas are geared up for young children and decor is of a high standard.  Just make sure you have plenty of change as my 3 year old made a point of wanting to go on the roundabout rides in the foyer, nearly every time we came out of the lifts!!
Although we did not have dinner or lunch in house, I can vouch for all of us that the breakfast buffet was excellent.  There is a huge choice of hot and cold options suitable for all tastes.  Staff are very efficient and more than happy to help with any queries during your stay.
I work within conference and events so have come to expect alot from venues and would definitley reccommend this hotel.
My only gripe was that the shuttle bus to the park always seemed to stop at this hotel last (as it is situated amongst 3 others), meaning that at peak times it was often too busy to even get on, let alone find a seat.

Review of 'HOTEL MÖVENPICK DREAM CASTLE'

03 June 2006
we arrived in june 2006. we were delighted how new and children friendly this hotel was. in fact our room. a double .double. had kingsize beds. a tv. and plenty of room. mornings at breakfast were busy but the food was good and everyone seemed catered for. the swimming pool was a delight for our children and the slide was always used. we used the jurcussi. and this was warm and often free of others. the bar and meals are expecncive. but this is disneyland. an esso garage down the road was useful for drinks and snacks. the suttlebuses run every 25 mins. but do get busy. we found it sometimes best to walk. about twenty mins. this hotel is next to both holiday inn and the exploriers. but it is the best of all of them. perhaps 5star really. the gardens and lake are a great walk in the evenings. but really this area is very overpriced. at least a mcdonalds is near. so prices are alright. but after a couple of days another mac is impossible. the best part is seeing the children enter the hotel and seeing all the designs and colours this make up castle has. we were really delighted.
