Doulbetree Does it again

2nd time at the Doubletree, can't fault it and its been completly refurbished since last year. Ideally placed for Universal Studio's and all Orlando, well done Alpha Rooms excellent price again Thanks

Doubletree Hotel Major Blv. June 7th to 11th

Stayed at the Doubletree hotel for the second time for 4 nights 2 adults 2 kids 13 and 6. This hotel is very well located and same as last time we enjoyed our stay their. Its great value for 3 star and we will stay there again. I would recommend to a friend.

This hotel is one of the best in the Universal area. I stayed here at the end of March during the Wrestlemania event - every room was reserved, so there were over 1,500 people staying there. Apart from the elevator waiting times, it was fantastic. The rooms are big, with a lcd 32 inch tv, 2 double beds, sofa, etc. It was very clean. There are great services at the hote. To get to Universal, you can get the free shuttle, take a $4 cab or walk. We chose the walking option - it took about 10 mins. The place is great!!!

Review of 'DOUBLETREE'

Upon arrival you will notice this hotel has ample car parking and considering its location near the entrance to Universal and its close proximity to International drive it sits in an oasis of well tended grounds.

At the moment you check in everyone is given the most delicious warm home made chocolate cookie and made to feel really welcome. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful when approched. We also liked the way in which we were not hassled to buy theme park tickets in the lobby etc.

Our room was of a good size, had two large double beds that were really comfortable and clean. There was a large tv through which the kids could play the attached play station or access the internet via the attached keypad. Most of the rooms are elevated from the ground and have really good views through the floor to ceiling window from which you can watch the firework displays when they take place at Universal.

The hotel is in a great location for getting out to the theme parks and local attractions. I4 and international drive are easily accessed within minutes.

There is a really nice swimming pool and small gym that anyone would have enjoyed using. The hotel has numerous restaurants, bars, Starbucks, Pizza Hut within the hotel. We did not have to use these however the hotel had a lot of business guests and this made for a good atmosphere within the complex.

The hotel room questionair asked. Would you return to this hotel in the future ? The answer is "absolutely" we really had a great stay !!
