Great Location for the beach

19 May 2008
We have just returned from this hotel after a long weekend celebrating my dad's 60th birthday. We couldn't fault the hotel at all. The hotel is a little dated in it's decor, but all rooms and public areas were spotless and well maintained. The majority of guests are british and spanish people over 50, however, it meant that there were no rowdy teenagers to wake you up at night. We travelled with our 21month daughter and she loved the pool, although small, and the great beach which was only 100 metres away. Food at the Don Pancho was good, although a little plain and boring at times, but probably was suited for the older clientele who stay there. Overall, the Don Pancho hotel is in a great location with very attentative staff and would recommend it.

DONT MISS OUT ON THIS HOTEL

24 September 2006
WE FOUND THE HOTEL VERY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY, THEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING IN ANYTHING THAT WAS NEEDED AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND THE PRICES OF INTERNAL USAGE FOR FOOD,DRINK OR PHONE CALLS WERE VERY REASONABLE, THE POOL AND SUN BEDS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY. WE WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN TO STAY IN THE DON PANCHO HOTEL WHEN GOING BACK TO BENIDORM

Review of 'Don Pancho'

27 August 2006
Spent a fortnight here with my wife and 8 year old son in Aug' 06 on a half board basis.
The hotel is very comfortable with excellent service all round including a daily room maid.
The variety of food on offer was good and my son always found something to his taste.
Easy to see that the hotel must have been the one and only place to stay in Benidorm when first established with high quality fittings/fixtures and spacious communal areas. The only negative point I can think of being the rather dated small pool and the general feel that the hotels rooms need a revamp. Having said this the majority of guests are elderly spanish and modern styling is perhaps not something they crave. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel on the basis of comfort and location.

One is quick to observe that entering this hotel the aura is of a peaceful and well run place to stay, efficient and helpful staff, excellent dining room with food to suit all tastes.I loved the comfortable bedroom. The heated indoor pool was warm in and out of the water and with easy access for disabled swimmers.Visitors to this hotel return year after year, this is a hotel for the more mature tourist who look for quality at a reasonable price. Like many of the people there I will go back again.

Review of 'DON PANCHO'

11 November 2005
We are regulars at the Don Pancho. It is a smart hotel, popular with sociable older couples and you will see familiar faces if you stay at the same time each year.
Rooms are spacious, well furnished and quiet. Bathroom fittings are good and well maintained. Good quality carpets in corridors.
The main lounge is well furnished and comfortable with music and cabaret six nights a week. Service throughout is excellent.
On the downside, the food menu is a bit uninspired and sometimes bland to the taste. Breakfast is particularly boring.
Excellent value for money

Review of 'DON PANCHO'

17 October 2005
Just returned today from the don pancho in benidorm.rooms spotlessly clean, food of an excellent quality with good choice each day. Definately caters for the more mature traveller, however we still had a very enjoyable holiday. Very central and close to the beach. Plenty of shops and bars all around.Hope to return one day maybe when a little older.

Review of 'DON PANCHO'

Excellent accomodation, relaxed friendly atmosphere, well located quality hotel. There are a number of hotels offering similar but the outstanding feature of this hotel (talk to anyone else and they'll agree) is the quality of the food which no other hotel seems to match. If I had one criticism and it's a minor one, it is that the beds were a little hard. Other than that, for the price, book it, you won't be dissapointed.

Review of 'DON PANCHO'

The Don Pancho Hotel is in a very central position,it is spotless clean and the staff are very helpful and polite, the rooms are comfortable although on the small side. The food was very good with lots of choice (fresh shrimps),steaks, carvery every night. Our party consisted of mixed ages from 22-42,we had a couple of 6-7yr olds with us and we did not feel this hotel was very family orientated it is more geared up for the over 55"s but then again we did know this when we booked having read reviews on the hotel,it was a last minute holiday and it was the height of the season (August 05).We have no complaints with this hotel and would stay there again but maybe when we are just that little bit older

Review of 'DON PANCHO' Summertime.

08 September 2005
We have stayed at the Don Pancho at most times during the past 9 years and hve seen changes, some better, some not. This is a comfortable hotel, probably one of the best in Benidorm. The hotel are introducing some changes all of the time, some we agree with some we do not. At this time of year the clientel are different to other times therefore allowances have to be made. The hotel is good quality averall, we would not stay anywhere else in this area. Alpharooms efficiency is first class and everything inc. transfers was perfect. Thanks.

Review of 'DON PANCHO'There is only one place to stay if visiting Benidorm, the Don Pancho

01 August 2005
My wife’s brother and family have been living in the Benidorm area for many years now. Our eldest niece got married in April this year and although we have stayed at some 3* hotels in the past we decided we would spoil ourselves and stay at the Don Pancho for a week to attend the wedding.
We got a fabulous deal with alpharooms .com, I could not believe the price we paid for a week half board. The hotel is probably nearer 5* than 4*. The rooms are well decorated, comfortable and very clean, towels changed every time they are used. The staff are very friendly and so helpful, particularly the reception staff and the restaurant staff. The restaurant manager was always very helpful and continuously checking to ensure that everything was o.k. There was a wide choice of food, some Spanish, some English and some more European. It was always very well cooked and well presented. This was some of the best food we have had in hotels.
The restaurant itself is very nice, clean comfortable, tables well presented and the staff are very friendly, courteous and polite.
All public areas are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel is ideally placed for the Levante beach and is not too far from the "old town" which can be reached on foot by taxi, bus or the tourist train. The hotel is close to many bars and the nightlife of Benidorm but has some quality entertainment of it's own.
The whole hotel seems to have that working for the customer ethos and it is hardly surprising that this hotel attracts such a large number of British people time and time again, mainly in the more mature age range who appreciate the comfort of such a hotel, the high standard of service. We even bumped into my neighbour’s mother and father there and they thought the hotel was wonderful. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we enjoyed it so much that we have booked again to go back for Christmas and are taking my wife’s father with us. Booking of course with alpharooms.com.

Review of 'DON PANCHO'

29 June 2005
well what do i say, the don pancho deserves 5 stars, everything was brilliant, the food was the best we have ever had, and we have travelled to quite a few places.the rooms were very clean. towel changed daily, mini bar wasnt too expensive, a welcome bottle of cold water on arriving, all of the staff from the reception to the cleaners were very freindly
my only criticism is the pool area,9 oclock and the hoards run for the sunbeds, the area is too small. i saw one couple with 4 beds 2 in the sunshine and 2 under the parasol.they still leave towels out at night and nobody done anything about it.we had to go to the beach every day and pay 9euros every day.
all in all we had a great holiday.
