Banging
02 July 2008
Got back on the 1st of july absolute brilliant time very secure rooms good safes, very clean rooms ,cleaned everyday, helpful staff, very good security at night they wont have anyone making too much noise because of the other guests. Upon arriveal my first impression was quite shockd (in a good way) because the price we paid to go and the time of year i personaly thought was cheap as chips and while im on the subject of chips the only downside for me was that they were served for breakfast and dinner but for my friends who are not experimental with their food they actually like the fact of eating chips !!!! so all round it was fine by me plenty of choice for breakfast, dinner was more of the locail veriety but thats what holiday is all about culture is just as important as clubbing. I would'nt say that the hotel was best suited to familys but there were some there and very one just got on with it lovely atmosphere and for me a person who is not a chatty personby the end i would go and chat to anyone. 5 minutes to the strip , 10 minutes to the beach but i found a shortcut (but im not telling)
beach is lovely and the booze cruse looked well hektick. As for bars, food and clubs BCM has got to be done evan if you do it once its amazing and such good value for money 30euro to get in free good quality gifts that went with the theme of the night and an unlimited bar and the drinks are good measures and are not watered down. benny hills is great for familys and groups of pals wanted to solicalise and if you fancey something different from the hotel food tom browns is very tasty and resonable.
More about the hotel!!
its walking distance from pirates right around the corner from it!
pool is not the biggest but comfortable and always was able to get a lounger
i give this hotel 4/5 because i believe everything has room for improving but what a holiday seems like i was there for a month rather than a week
wicked time ,wicked place ,wicked people, I Love Mallorca Magalluf, it is what you make it! x

noisy
28 June 2008
Just got back from don juan yesterday, the hotel was very nice for the price we paid half board but will not be returning to that hotel again as all of the people staying there acted like animals, we was staying on 5th floor with groups of noisy lads on both sides of us, banging on balcony rails, houting, banging on walls at 6am lads shouting at girls passing by.
Dont stay if you are wanting a relaxing holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Holiday.
17 June 2008
We were at the Don Juan from 31st May till 6th June. Had a great holiday , Hotel has been updated & air conditioning fitted in rooms since our last visit two years ago. Had a good choice of breakfasts but can,t comment on evening meal as we ate out through choice. We found the staff friendly & helpful the rooms very clean, towels changed every day, will be going back next year. The hotel is well situated for all the night life. We did not have any problems with large noisy groups but that is always a matter of luck.

Just got back from the Don Juan literally last night. Upon arrival we though ok its what you would expect for the price, fast check in, rooms were adequate etc.
The food wasnt special but its had everything to cater for everyone ask my mate who will only eat chicken and chips lol.
I would only recommend this hotel for young and lively as it can be quite noisy during the evenings, people shouting etc.
All in all this is a good hotel if you plan to be out most of the nights.

disappointed
23 July 2007
I visited this hotel in June 2005 with friends and found it ok. I visited it again in July 2007 with my family and mum in law. The first 4 nights were a nightmare very noisy from 4am until 6am. It did improve as some of the youths had gone home. The hotel and resort was full of rowdy youths who after a couple of bottles of pop thought they owned the whole of Magaluf. The Hotel was friendly and clean, the food was ok.
Not a place to go with a family which is a shame as it was the youths who had spoilt it

The hotel was simple and clean enough. If you just want somewhere to fall at the end of the night. Food was good with good variety. Security was fairly tight but things get a bit wild at reception from time to time. I found that this merely added to the lively atmosphere of the establishment. Pool was small but big enough to move about a bit. Don't try the butterfly after a few.
Overall a good wee haunt.

Very good value. Hotel basic but clean, staff friendly and helpful - close to all amenities yet far enough away from the "strip" to be quiet.

I had a good experience at the Don Juan, it's cheap but still a really nice comfortable place to stay. The rooms were clean. Good sized swimming pool. Helpful reception. The food was good (although the choice for vegetarians was a bit poor, as they counted fish as being veggie). The hotel was about 10 mins away from the strip which meant that you could still get some peace and quiet if you wanted. It's really close to pirates and the water parks too. The only problem is the lack of air conditioning but it was bearable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for young groups and young couples.

The hotel was very clean and tidy the rooms were basic but nice. Its good for young people who are there to get drunk and have a good time then sleep. Pool was very small but nice as it didnt get to busy. Shops and bars are very close by and cheap!! The buffet is ok i suppose good for what you pay and staff are friendly it doesnt have air con which is a downer but you can rent a fan for about 12 eros which will call you down staff are lovely. Over all gr8 place to stay and have fun for people on a budget and want a nice simple place to sleep. LOVE IT

The food was okay but the variety was great, there was lots to choose from and the restaurant was large. The rooms were nice and clean although a little dated and the maids were really friendly. The pool area was not huge, but I found that more beneficial, because it was smaller you met and talked more with other guests which were staying there!! We had a right giggle through the day at the pool and the bar was great aswell!! The only downfall for me was the men on reception, as all they did all holiday was moan at all the guests, including our group for being lousd!! I think they forget there located in Magaluff, they compiled a list of who was priority to be thrown out and this was left on the desk at reception. I was shoutted at also and was called a big mouth by reception guy for being too loud on the telephone which I found offensive, but aside from that it was great!!

The room itself was clean upon arrival but the balcony was scattered with litter. The room was basic and old fashioned but ok if it is a simply a case of you wanting to have some to get some sleep. Food was good with plenty and plenty of choice (Evening Meal was better than the breakfast). Don Juan located a 5-10 min walk from the main centre, taxi costs about 5 euros. Security was ok, pool area was small and in need of some tarting up but overall the Don Juan is ok if you are looking for a cheap simple place to stay at.

As I approached the DJ I was full of trepidation, hotels in Magalluf put their names on the top in big orange neon and the DJ's is the smallest by far. The words "Oh" and "Dear" were ringing like alarm bells in my head, I was getting visions that Del boy and Rodney had set up in Maga. But my fears were immediately dispelled when I got into reception and saw a big group of beaming, exccited English people on their way out for the night and the big smile of surely the loveliest hotel receptionist in the whole of Maga! The Don Juan is great....clean and friendly and the best thing was the food which I really enjoyed, it had something for everybody. I had no problems of any kind and was compelled to leave a good tip. Missing the beach and the sea and the pubs and that lovely receptionist!!!

food was served as a buffet, it was ok nothing fabulous but did the job.
beach was lovely and nightlife was BRILLIANT!!
i would definitely recommend it for young couples and lads holidays!! and especially if you want a party hard time!!

Lads Holiday so accommodation was not so important. The Hotel was clean and basic. No Air conditioning in the room and no Fridge. The room also had a TV with one English Channel. Breakfast was good, buffet style with a lot of choice. Evening meal, again buffet style but not so good; more like school dinners than hotel restaurant food.
Very loud hotel, more club 18-30. Suited us down to the ground but I wouldn’t take my girlfriend and definitely not a family.
All the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel had an arcade and the pool bar provided excellent bar food (try the Mexican Pizza!)
All in all a good (if basic) hotel that fulfilled our needs and was 5 minute walk from BCM’s. We didn’t have far to travel for bars and nightlife and food was good enough to prepare us for partying
I would recommend it if you are looking for a drinking and partying holiday.

A clean and tidy hotel, food was good, service was good, rooms were ok clean and tidy, if your looking for a quiet hotel this is not for you. If you want a lively, fun hotel this is ok, not too far from the action of Magaluf. Definatly NOT a hotel to take a young family.

It was amazing...any girlies going...dont worry about the men - there all gorgeous and up for a good time. The hotel was amazing, the food was great and having the free bottle of wine placed on your table every day was a great party starter! Definitely deserves more than a 5/5 more like a 10/5! Absoloutly fabulous, can't wait to go back and meet the love of my life again! Ha.
