Review of 'DON CURRO'

09 March 2007
A very good hotel, with generally good, and some excellent, services. Particularly pleasant bar/restaurant/lounge area, with friendly and helpful staff and varied menu. Breakfast excellent value. Some of the reception staff were a bit grumpy, but the main problem is that the bedrooms are not air-conditioned, in spite of what the advertising blurb says - they have heating but no cooling, and our room became uncomfortably hot at night even in early March. They did move us to a slightly cooler room when we complained about this, but could not even provide a fan.

Review of 'DON CURRO' Overnight at the Don Curro

17 September 2006
We booked the room because of our late arrival time in Malaga, we arrived at 2am on 2 september 2006, to a very pleasant greeting of Hola Mr & Mrs fletcher, I had E-Mailed prior to check a late arrival would be ok and had a very prompt and pleasant reply, we had a lovely spotlessly clean room and our requested early morning call was prompt and pleasant, on our arrival in the lobby we requested a taxi and by the time the few formalities had been carried out our bags were in and all ready to go. We would recommend and use the Don Curro again without question.

Don Corro Hotel is an excellent central base for a stay in Malaga.   Within the old town all the sites are within easy woalking distance as are cafes, restaurants and bars.   Hotel itself is immaculate, rooms are of a good size and furnished well.  Housekeeping is excellent with towels, toiletries, and bedding changed daily.   Well recommended!

Review of 'DON CURRO'

I stayed in the Don Curro from Dec 16/18. The location is superb for those interested in Malaga itself. Within very easy walking distance are numerous museums, the cathedral, the Alcazaba and Teatro Romano, many coffee shops and restaurants, etc.And for the shoppers amongst us, then you can do no better that Marques de Larios, just 100 metres away. Hotel is scrupiously clean; the room small but large enough, and with an all marble bathroom. There is a safety deposit box in the room, which is easy to use. The balcony gives fine views over the city. There are 8 floors, and 2 lifts, giving out onto marble floors. Highly reccommended for the price.
