We were very unhappy with this hotel. Yes it is in a superb location and maybe it was unfortunate that our stay was just before the hotel closed for the winter, but our experience was not a good one.
Service was poor, room no more than adequate, the hotel poorly signposted making it difficult to find, no information provided about meal and checkout times until we asked, restaurant focussed on speed rather than quality - we were glad that they had a special offer of 25 euros for the set menu - we would have been really unhappy had we paid the normal rate of 40 euros each!
