Couples of days in Budapest
04 April 2008
Location, location, location!! For the good rate we got from alpharooms, this was superb value for money. Walking distance to the Opera house, shopping districts, parliament, basilica... We only used the metro once, to go to Heroes Square. Great restaurants all within short walking distance. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, but watch out for the wine prices. We didn't check the bill and ended paying £40 for a bottle of wine from Eger (Hungarian wine from only 2 hrs drive from there). The room was perfect and large! Will definitely look to stay here again. Staff was friendly, helpful and airport transfer was cheaper than taxi. Maybe not a 4* same as in UK, but it is eastern Europe and found it clean, tidy, big rooms, lovely fluffy white towels, haridryers etc. Just a great stay!!! And check-out is not until 12. :)

week-end break with friends
20 March 2008
Make sure you take confirmation of booking as when we arrived at the hotel they had no record.
Hotel in excellent position, most sights within walking distance and close to amenities. Room was clean and spacious with excellent shower, rooms cleaned daily. Windows were in roof and even though it was cold out the room was very hot and aircon not working, but probably not on yet. Breakfast was excellent but tea and coffee very weak. Drinks in hotel very expensive. For eating out would highly recommend the Red Cafe in Raday Street, food and service was excellent and good value.
We found Budapest a bit grim but were lucky with the weather. Would recommend the tour bus and also a visit to Heroes Square. Hotel definitely not a 4 star, more like a good 3 star.

Week in Budapest
24 February 2008
Domina Inn Fiesta is a 'good' hotel, not excellent or average but admirably good.
Pros: Excellent location within minutes of the central transport link, tidy/neat & daily cleaned rooms, excellent selection continental style breakfast (probably one of the best we have had), staff very friendly, polite and helpful, rooms very spacious, excellent reception/lobby area.
Cons: Kettle + cups but no coffee/tea provided, shower unit dated, corridors a strange yellow colour (but to be fair they are just corridors!), coffee at breakfast was very weak (compared to our picky standards for coffee being essential at breakfast!).
Overall a good value for money hotel, excellent location with transport, sights, supermarket all in close proximity. 3/4* hotel, go somewhere else if you like a stylist and fashionable hotel.

A few days away
09 December 2007
Just returned from a 2 day midweek break at the Domina Inn Fiesta. Well situated and nice external appearance however rooms and corridors really need upgrading. Room facilities basic, no tea and coffee and shower cubicle a bit grimey. Breakfast and dinner was good. If you want a 4 star hotel then go somewhere else - this is not it.

Weekend away
19 November 2007
Excellent location for sight seeing, but not really a four star. Staff variable in friendliness, showers were cold on the first day but got better and the rooms were warm and clean. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety but would not recommend the restaurant dinner, especially as we had live musicians who would not leave us alone in the meal until they got money or we bought their CD! In all, good value for money for a four star, but thats probably because its not quite four star standard!

Good Value
15 November 2007
Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Domina... Check-in was flawless and the location of the hotel was good, really close to the main Subway Deak Ter and close to the fashionable shopping street and the Opera House just on the doorstep. Main reception area was immaculate and so was the dining room/breakfast area in the basement. The room I stayed in whilst warm and comfortable could have benefitted from a newer bathroom, the shower cubiclel looked a bit run down and grimey... quite a surprise for a 4 star hotel! The same could be said for the corridors leading to the rooms. What was also dissappointing was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, however you could get a drink at the reception cafe if required. Also the rooms were described as wi-fi connected, so I took my laptop but I was unable to pick up a signal except down in the main reception, which was ok as they had large comfy chairs and tables to use. Interestingly the hotel also had a private dental practise in the lobby, so if you were thinking of becoming a health tourist and making use of the high quality lower cost treatment available in Hungary, then this might be an ideal place to stay. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice in a continental style...Overall, I would use this hotel again.

Autmn Break
22 September 2007
We are 4 friends who have decided to have a city break each year. We have just returned from Budapest, staying in the Domina Inn Fiesta. We had a wonderful break and the hotel was supurb - excellent staff, facilities and food, highly recommended.
We could not find a fault with it and would certainly return again

Review of 'DOMINA INN FIESTA'
30 December 2006
We were very impressed with the Domina Fiesta Inn. The rooms are a spacious size and the bathroom is sparkling white. Breakfast was great and the variety was better than most European hotels, serving hot meats and salads also. The hotel is very close to the station and streets nearby feel very safe and conveniently located within walking distance to sights, such as St Stephens Basilica. Would stay there again.

Review of 'DOMINA INN FIESTA'
06 December 2006
You really can't go far wrong with this place. It's a recently renovated chain 4-star hotel, slightly characterless, but with a lot of points in its favour. Excellent position, in a reasonably quiet, yet main, street in the centre, right next to Andrassy ut., Deak ter., Jewish quarter. Very helpful, friendly staff with a high level of English. Copious, varied breakfasts. Quiet, high-ceilinged, well-fitted room, with big bathroom.

Review of 'DOMINA INN FIESTA'
08 November 2006
The hotel was lovely, really nice staff - they were polite and very helpful. Breakfast was extremely nice with lots of choice. Our room was much better than we expected - it was really big with a lovely sofa.
The only thing I would suggest is for the hotel to change the pillows as they weren't comfy - they were rather hard.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.
