This is an excellent hotel.The staff are polite & the rooms are more than adequate .The location of the hotel is first class & the breakfast provided was much appreciated!.In short...I'd use this hotel happily...anytime :)

GREAT ACCESS FOR OLD TOWN

I stayed at the Domina Ilmarine for 3 nights on a business trip to Tallinn. The hotel was excellent value for money, was clean and bright and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is situation very near to the old town of Tallinn - excellent for easy access to the old town, restaurant, bars etc. I would highly recommend this hotel

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Domina Ilmarine in Tallinn. We were originally booked for a different hotel, however, for reasons beyond our and alpharooms control,we had to change our hotel choice. The Domina Ilmarine is a bright, modern hotel, the public rooms and suites having been converted from a former machine works factory. This has been very cleverly done. The breakfast was excellent and our room was also very good, although smaller than I had imagined it would be from the picture shown. The picture is obviously one of the suites. But the room and bathroom were quite adequate with a lovely large shower. Disappointingly, there were no tea making facilities in the room although description states that there is. I asked at reception and a kettle and teacups were brought to our room. During our stay, we viewed the other hotel we had originally booked and also another choice and we were glad that we opted for Domina Ilmarine. The position is superb with easy access to the old town, city shops and trams. Overall,good value and great hotel.

The location was spot on if you want access to the 'Old Town' only a short walk and you were there. Tallinn is a great place full of medieval mystery and 100's of years of history.
The hotel itself was very clean, very comfortable and lots of space. Breakfast was repetitive but of a good standard unfortunately the staff were a little dour!
Having said that the reception staff were great with an excellent command of the English language. All in all well worth a visit and great value for money.

What a great hotel! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Facilities include a beauty salon (which had we stayed longer in Tallinn would have definitely tried) and a sauna. Price for a sauna for up to 8 people was 400EEK (about £20) What a bargain! And what an experience - as it wasn't just a sauna but a private sauna with a jacuzzi and chill-out area upstairs. Bliss! Breakfast was also a wide variety and catered for everyone. Location was within walking distance of the Old Town and about 10-15 minutes from the airport. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone...

Nice big room with a very comfy king size bed.
Location great on quiet side street - only 5 minutes walk to centre of the old town or 3 minutes staggering distance from our favorite pub 'Hell Hunt'!!
The power shower is almost like hydrotherapy.............
Piece of advice: avoid the salty sprats at breakfast!

Excellent value and breakfast! Large bed,power shower.It was cold outside,but warm in my room..Dark curtains for daytime sleep if needed..But sauna/jacuzzi was an extra charge.

Lovely service, nice clean rooms, good knowlege of English, good food.
Good location - just 2 min walk from the borders of Old Town!!!!
