Very good customer service at the Diana Park! Manager got us a new room after a schoolclass had come & kept us awake all night.

Great Hotel

25 May 2008
We stayed here for 4 nights recently when attending a wedding in Estepona. We booked through Alpharooms for about £25 a night, which was absolutely fantastic but a good hotel like this. We were prepared for cheap and cheerful accommodation but we actually found the hotel really lovely. We had a double room on the ground floor which led onto a small veranda with chairs, and we were right next to the bar and pool. This is a relatively quiet and peaceful hotel with mainly families staying, and we didn’t find it noisy despite it being at almost full occupancy. The food was good if basic and breakfast was plentiful. One of the best things about the hotel is the free, secure parking. Our friends stayed in higher-starred hotels around Estepona but all of them complained about paying for parking. The Diana Park offers a secure car park, which you need to be a resident to enter, and it's free. The hotel is next to the motorway but you can't hear it at all. Links to Estepona and Malaga are great, and the hotel is next to a row of shops, bars and restaurants which provide everything you need. We ate at several of the restaurants and tapas bars and found them to be of a very high standard. Our room was cleaned every day and the staff were incredibly friendly. We would absolutely return to the Diana Park, we've stayed in far inferior hotels for a lot more money.

Cheap and Cheerful

25 February 2008
Cheap and cheerful. Have stayed here a couple of times when attending a convention in Estepona. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Food is as you would expect for the money. Good value for money but far from luxurious.

short break in Feb

23 February 2008
We stayed at Diana Park in February 2008 - found the hotel quite easily from the main road. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room immaculately clean, with fresh towels each day. We requested a double bed, which was comfortable but very squeaky! The room had a spacious balcony overlooking the attractive pool area, which we could not use due to terrible weather. There is a small parade of shops and bars near the hotel which is very useful but a car is needed to get out anywhere of interest. Secure parking is provided by the hotel. The food at breakfast was fine and there was plenty of choice. It was very good value for the money and we would recommend it for a short break.

November 2007 Review - Disabled user

04 December 2007
We stayed at Diana Park for 8 days in November. My wife is a wheelchair user and though there is good access the ramps are quite steep. The hotel is very close to the main Malage-Cadiz dual carriageway. As such it is quite noisy and to drive east you must first drive west for over 2km. But the hotel was clean, the food was as expected for the price and the staff were polite. I think it was good value but far from luxurious.

Diana Park Hotel, Estepona

04 November 2007
My husband and I stayed for one night after driving down from Islantilla. Having missed our way we came in from the Malaga end and were lucky to see the sign, but had already driven past. Had some difficulty finding how to track back on such a busy road [don't think we would have found it if we had come in from the other end]. Once there however we found the accommodation adequate for one night. Poor lighting in the room. Breakfast was adequate. For the money we paid it was good value. Thanks to Alpharooms once again for finding us accommodaion at short notice.

October 2007

11 October 2007
My wife and i stayed at this hotel at the beginning of October after booking online. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The rooms were excellent value for the price we paid out of season. The breakfast was very good for the price. There is free secure parking at the rear of the hotel, which is ideal. The location is on the main costal road so car hire is a must for this location. The hotel is situated inbetween Purto Banus and Estepona. Its only 40 mins from Gibraltar for tax free shopping !!. The hotel is on the right side of the road travelling from Malaga. The hotel is sign posted, but if you just drive past without seeing the sign you will miss it!. There is a great Chinese called the Mandarin Palace on the other side of the road near the Crown Plaza hotel. We had a great holday at this hotel and the location is ideal for a good base to travel around.

Diana Park

Excellent value for money, and at the price worth 5 stars. Nice complex with pool and bar/restaurant. Clean, tidy, and daily maid service. Breakfasts were excellent but we dined out each evening. As you do. Centraly located for the purpose of our visit. All in all, highly recommended for the money and we would be back again, no question

Review of 'Diana Park'

12 December 2006
Hotel in quite a good location for commuting to various areas, but is in quite a residential area.

Diana Park is very well kept and clean and tidy.

The staff are all very helpful, but the quality of the food is quite poor.

Overall, you get what you pay for and Diana Park is very low priced and in my opinion decent value for money.

Stayed for one mostly sunny week in mid November. Excellent value for money.  Ideal location for sightseeing with a car or using public transport. Easy wander to the local beaches. Accomodation very pleasant and clean. Buffet food nice and fulfilling, and great if you like salads. Hotel facilities all you need including secure parking and free room safe. Lovely (unheated) outdoor swimming pool and surrounding sit out areas. If it rains and you have time on your hands try the friendly neighbouring Windmill bar run and frequented by expats with lots of stories to tell.

Review of 'DIANA PARK'

Diana Park is a very delightful little Hotel. It's part of a complex with a SUPERMARKET + RESTAURANTS + BARS in it.

The rooms were very clean with constant hot water + clean towels + beds made daily.

The pool area and pool itself were immaculate.

The breakfast opening times and choice of foods were well above what you would normally get.

We hope to extend our stay again next year and include Diana Park within that schedule.

Review of 'DIANA PARK'

06 April 2006
The hotel was the best 3 star that I have stayed in on the Costa del Sol. It is only on 2 floors. As soon as you enter the grounds the smell of jasmine hits you. Lovely rooms, lovely quiet secluded hideaway yet so close to a busy road. Private and secure car parking is available. The only downside is the food. Not very nice at all. Perhaps it was because the hotel was quiet when we stayed there.

Excellent Hotel, but not walkable to beach. Agree with all the other reviews. You do need a car. Access is only off the main road heading West. Take the slip road just as you go past Estepona sign and go around the bend in the road. If you miss it you'll see the hotel, but you'll have to drive on and back to get to it. The Pool and food excellent as are the rooms and towels (must have been renewd when we visited. Excellent value for money. Would stay there again.
