We've just come back from staying at the Deya apartments. There were 13 girls there for my Hens party ranging in age from 21 to 51 and we had a fantastic time. The location of the apartments is great , it's central to everything but the noise from Green Hills disco goes on until 6.30. We didnt mind because we were in the nightclub ourselves but I wouldn't stay here if I was going with children. I was dreading what it would be like after reading the reviews here and had warned the girls it might be rough but it was absolutely fine. Great for a holiday for young people or a stag or hen party but not for kids.

just got back from majorca, and stayed at the deya apartments.. although we had a fab holiday, i was not impressed with the hotel, the room was only cleaned once.. and on the third day had to chase a maid for clean towels.. the shower just basically dripped on you, so you were in the shower near on an hour.. we were also told there was a bar in the hotel.. which was not opened all week.. for a hotel which is based on couples and families there were to many groups of lads, who were drunk, and put us off laying around the pool.. would not stay at the deya again, but loved santa ponsa..

stayed at this hotel last year,right in the centre of town, near all the night life.plenty of places to eat, really recommend scotts across the road

hiya all my partner and i stayed in the deya for 4 days, had a great time. its central to everything, was grand and quiet at this time of year but can get very lively later in the season.

Hotel was quiet due to refurb at nightclub.staff helpfull and apartment basic but good for price.Would recommend if going for cheap few days.Plenty of nightlife and bars

stayed at deya early may ,spacious room could do with a lick of paint location the best in santa ponsa,never had a bad meal the whole of our stay,beeches where great would definately stay there again

We stayed in the Deya and had a great holiday. The apartments were basic but what more do you need. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great pubs and clubs roundabout great little pub called the Acorn shows all the sports etc. Cheekos next door was good as well. On the way to the square we ate in Teazers and the meals were really good and great value for money, breakfasts at teazers are the best in Santa Ponsa. Will be back next year.

myself an 3 others (2 couples) went to santa ponsa in the last week in aug 07. we stayed in the deya apartments which were nice we had 1 bedroom apartment which had a double room an a sofa bed in living area both rooms had air con, a kitchenet with a fridge freezer an we had a balcony lookin out over the irish center!! the deya apartments are the ideal location for true irish party peoplewho like 2 party like mad al nite long!!! all the irish bars r right beside u, u have hill 16, the dubliner, the shamrock, dicey reillys, the dublin sports bar, durty nellys, kitty osheas, green fields (opposite deya). we had our rooms cleaned twice while we wer there. we didnt have any complaints at all durin our stay!! the pool area is big enough2 the pool is alot bigger lookin than the picture shows! we had a fantastic time an we will defo b goin back 2 stay in the deya!!

great position

Stayed in the Deya in June ,brilliant position ,pool area fine ,service fine . The place needs a lick of paint but otherwise we liked . It was NOISY in the early hours but thats not the Apts fault ,all we did was take ear plugs and we slept reasonably well.For what we paid for our accomadation we cant really complain,we were on the 4th floor and had excellent views .

Myself and 3 friends went to Santa Ponsa and stayed in the Apartment Deya. It wasn't exactly the 'ritz' but we all had a great week and the apartment suited our needs!! I think it was a great place to stay, simply because it has a good size pool and gym!! You can go on holiday and work out at the same time, what more could you want?!

never been to santa ponsa before but will definatly go again deya appts were basic but clean and reception staff helpful &friendly lots of irish people stay in resort and they are nicest people you would want to meet. Deya appts opposite greenhills nightclub which was open till 5 am! but noise didn,t bother us as we joined in! plenty of other pubs and entertainment for all tastes&ages in resort. visit mad mickeys bar opposite deya entrance and try craigs love potion number 9 cocktail mmmmmmmm lovely

It would be disingenuous to describe the Deya Apartments as the 'Ritz', and it would be true to say that the building is becoming old and just a wee bit shabby. But having said that our party of five couples spent a very enjoyable week at the Deya and would recommend it as value for money, friendly and secure.
The staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful and even assisted me in playing a harmless prank on my sister.
The rooms were clean and we received fresh towells and bed linen as required. All of our party's rooms were equipped with an efficient fridge and air conditioning at no extra cost! The pool area is very pleasant and the guy who works on the poolside cafe/bar was a bit of a charachter and served my poolside coffee with some style! Safe keys and controls for air conditioning system were available from reception for a small deposit which was refunded on checkout. Two coin operated PCs were located at the reception area to give Internet access for those who have to stay in touch with work or family. Our party particularly enjoyed a drink in the 'Lucky Leprachaun' bar before going out of an evening and again on returning.
All in all we have no complaints about the Deya and would stay there again (and probably will again next year!)
The Deya is centrally located in Santa Ponsa, close to souviner shops, supermarkets, lots of cafes, bars and excellent restaurants. The taxi rank is about one minutes walk away and the main bus service is about 6 or 7 minutes away.
If you want 5 star you will have to pay for it but if you want excellent value for money, security and good service it is hard to beat the Deya!
