After reading terrible reviews about this hotel, I was slightly apprehensive to say the least! Me, my partner and my 12 year old son stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in June 05. Check-in was quick and painless, I was dreading this after some of the reviews. We were in room 25 which was a triple room. The room was big, basic, very clean and had everything we needed. Our room window opened up on to the back of another building, this wasn't a problem for any of us as we were there to enjoy the city, not spend all day looking out of the window!
The hotel is above a steak house, although we didn't eat there, the food looked and smelt lovely. Continental breakfast was included, which was cold meats, cheese, bread rolls, cereals and fruit juice. This was nice, plentiful and well presented. You could have an English breakfast for 5.50 Euro's if you preferred.
The day we were leaving, our flight was later in the afternoon. We checked out at 11am and were allowed to leave our cases behind the reception at no extra cost.
All the staff were friendly and we didn't encounter any problems whatsoever. For the price I paid for this hotel, the central location and the service we recieved, I would definitely book to stay there again.
