Bargain accommodation in London

06 October 2008
A group of 6 of us stayed at this newly built hotel for one night as we wanted to head out to London's East End for the night. The reception staff were very welcoming and efficient, the rooms were very comfortable and modern with flatscreen TV's, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning. The double and twin rooms were an excellent size the only thing missing was a bath but the shower did the job. Public areas were spotless the bar prices were reasonable for London and the bargain price for one night included breakfast which was a hot buffet style or continental and well worth the price. The nearest train station is Cambridge Heath (London) which goes from Liverpool Street Station and passes through Bethnal Green so only under a 5 minute walk.

excellent choice

The hotel is newly built and really nice. I just hope it keeps the standards that it has started with. The room was really comfortable and modern. Very clean. Reception was sparkling marble and friendly staff. Bar not too expensive. Breakfast, waiter and waiteresses were really efficient and incredibky helpful. This will be my first choice in future. Rail station on corner two minutes, nearest tube bethnel green (which I used) only 5 minutes walk away and on central line so quite decent service.

comfortable and reasonably handy!

26 August 2008
Stayed here because trip advisor has warned us of impending death if we stayed in other similarly priced hostels/b&bs etc! booking through alpha rooms made it cheap as chips!! and for some unknown reason-which we didn't question, our breakfast was upgraded to a full english-though in fairness-i would probably stick to the continental! if you had to pay the extra £4/person i wouldn't bother!! All in all the stay was comfortable and handy enough to get to! will stay here again!

Lovely modern hotel with great service

25 August 2008
A friend and I stayed here whilst visiting London for some sightseeing. We were very impressed with the Hotel which was new, tasteful and modern. All areas were very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included at a bargain price and was all you would expect and more. Every member of staff we met from the cleaners to the duty manager was polite and extremely helpful. the Hotel were happy to accomodate our luggage for almost two full days - we had spoken to several hotels prior to booking this one where this was either not possible or considered an inconvenience but was vital for us as our rail links were early and late in the day. Transport to and from the hotel was great, Bus stop just outside including a night bus service and bethnal green tube approx 10-15 min walk away. Could even buy a travel pass in the shop practically next door. Although the surrounding area isn't the most desirable it didn't feel unsafe and wasn't noisy at night, as two women we comfortably walked back from the tube late at night. All round a fantastic bargain - would definatly stay again.

Nice Relaxing Stay

18 August 2008
Booked this hotel to attend the Shoreditch Festival, the check in procedure was very quick although the hotel had my booking as a twin, when I had paid for a double, this was sorted out and I was given a nice quiet room away from the main road 119. Room was very clean with a flat screen TV, room lighting could had been better as the room seemed too dark, air con was fine and the bathroom was very clean with ample towels. the only down side to the hotel was the breakfast queue, my tip would be to attened breakfast early as possible. The bar staff were good, although some drinks were quite expensive but no diffrent to most hotels in the city. Anyone travelling back from the hotel to Liverpool St you can pick up the bus opposite the hotel bus number 26, which takes about 10-15 mins. I would use this hotel again and was good value for money, a better option than a Travel Lodge.

Great budget stay in London

17 July 2008
Originally booked this hotel because i couldn't find anywhere else to stay and I was desperate! What a great surprise, though! This was all new, really clean, quiet and much better quality than any other budget hotel I have stayed in. It was also the cheapest price for a fantastic room...and breakfast thrown in too. There was also a bus stop right outside the front door with quick links to Liverpool St Station. I'm converted.... This would be my FIRST choice in future!!
