What our customers say

A Grand treat without a Grand price tag best describes a stay at this hotel. The unusual location of being in the middle of a readily accessible island (Margitisziget) in the Danube close to all attractions combined with the use of the excellent Spa facilities at the Thermal Hotel next door, make the Danubius Grand well worth a visit. Just imagine floating away your concerns over your tired feet in a hot pool in very plush surroundings after a days' sightseeing around the local area.

The hotel reflects a bygone age in its styling without appearing tired. All staff are very attentive and friendly and the sumptuous  breakfast buffet is enough to keep most people on the go until lunchtime, when you might fancy a bowl of the readily available local Goulash Soup at one of the characterful restaurants or cafes downtown.

A stay at the Danubius Grand is highly recommended if you fancy something a bit different without giving up quality and value. The Spa facilities are free to hotel guests and you access them through a carpeted tunnel from the Grand Hotel, already kitted out in your free robe. Taxis are readily available and a bus to downtown passes by every 20 minutes. A great spot for watching activities on the river, and there's even a soft jogging track round the whole island! Give the Grand a try!
