stayed 27june 1week
08 July 2008
stayed here for a week with my husband & 3 kids, 7yr old boy, 4 yr old boy & 8 mth old girl.
found these apartments very spacious, clean, beds comfortable, great size balcony. we were on first floor overlooking the pool so great for our kids to be able to run up & down & still keep an eye on them whilst getting ready. plenty for kids to do during the day & the entertainment was great in the evenings for the kids. everyone very friendly & fact that the pool area didnt open until 9am was great especially with small kids. Meant we didnt have to get up at the crack of dawn to get pool beds. only downside is the pool area does get a bit crowded. but would definitely go back again.

Stayed In May
12 May 2008
This hotel is ideal for the beach which is only a few minutes walk away from the beach, this self catering hotel is very clean and basic with a small kitchenette, its great value for money as it has everything you need. Check In was smooth however I would have liked a smile ! It advertises a supermarket in the hotel however when I was there it was closed everyday and all the shelves were empty as if it wasnt in use anymore so the nearest one is about a 10 min walk away. Maid was great and give us extra towels when needed. Four of us slept comfortably in the apartment. The clubs to go to are 007, Bus Stop or Snoopys which are five minutes away in a taxi for six Euros. The nearest airport is Reus and it cost us 28 Euros one way. Would recommend to anyone as is in a quieter part of Salou but the hustle bustle is a 5 min journey away.

Visiting late October
31 October 2007
My original mistake was that the weather at this time of year was very poor. The problem with this Aparthotel is that when the weather is poor there is NOTHING to do. The only English speaking TV channel is CNN and they repeat everything every free minutes. The hotel was however very clean and the staff very friendly. It is however in a very quite area of Salou.

UK October half term
28 October 2007
Excellent value for money close to centre of Salou, short walk to beach. Handy car park in front of hotel so we had no problem parking the hire car. We stayed here and visited the Port Aventura theme park 3 days which is a 5 min journey by car. Apartment was clean and fine for the 4 of us. Would use this hotel again. Train noise did not bother us at all.

Good hotel close to the centre
08 October 2007
Me and my two friends booked a room for us for the beginning of October. The apartment suited us well - single beds and extra bed were available. Kitchen was ok for small cooking and the close location to the centre of Salou was a great plus. The weather wasn't so good (it rained so lot that pedestrians were almost isolated to the hotel, because that rained water filled up the streets). Anyways - we'll definitely recommend this hotel for all the other Salou visitors

Review of 'Cye Holiday Centre'
04 November 2006
Lovely clean apartments and good hotel with swimming pool, bar, restaurant, kids club, etc. and situated near the town not to far from the resort and near the beach too. Went for three nights at the end of October and the weather was 30C plus! Would definitely go there again.

30 October 2006
Apartment clean & well equipped for families. Bar is very open & not very inviting & comfortable therefore we didn't spend any time in it. Pool very crowded in October so don't know what it would be like in high season. Quite a walk from main resort & most nightlife so taxi required about 6 euro. Beach nice that is a short walk & not many supermarkets nearby in October that were open.

Review of 'Cye Holiday Centre'
30 October 2006
I booked two nights here for my daughter (8) and I for a total price of £17. Yes, that's £4.25 each a night!
I was of course worried, but should not have been. It does what it says on the tin.
Nice room with pool view. Sleeps five easy. Kitchen, bath / shower. Satelite TV inc English Eurosport.
Reception always manned. Internet PC next to reception. Bar open all times, serving very reasonably priced drinks (cocktails €3.5). The bar also looks out onto the pool area.
The pool is reasonably sized and gets the afternoon sun. Mind you, it needs to as its bloomin freezing.
The evening consists of kids disco, quiz, bingo, karaeoke etc. All good fun, and was delivered even though there were only 5/6 kids there!
Down sides were that noise travelled through walls and floors too easily. If I hear one more wooden chair scrape on a floor I think I'll go mental. The trains wizz past, but you'd have to decide to find them annoying.
Location is around 800 metres to the right (Cambrils direction) of the Main street (Robin Hood road / Europa Square). It is also about 200 metres from the beach.
Salou has a delightful beach boulevard, make sure you pull up a chair before sundown and sup a cocktail watching the world go by.

Review of 'Cye Holiday Centre'
31 August 2006
wasnt a very good start to the holiday because we was dropped at the bottom of our road and not out side the apartment.had to carry our cases all along the road and it was the same going home too. the apartment was nice and clean but a bit to high up on the 5th floor when you have children. i found the trains behind the apartment very noise. the kids club was great, and the entertainment in the evening was too.

CYE APARTMENTS the apartments are very clean, spacious and comfortable... maid came in 3 times in the week we stayed there... good value for money... we ate and went out every night so i don't know what food or entertainment is like...big reception, handy little supermarket on site, pool quite small and cold but enough sun loungers for nearly everyone...lots of families there... would reccomend to anybody!
EATING IN SALOU there are lots of good eating places in salou, and many places to have a drink it night. kahula, near the parrot pub, is a nice place to go for a drink, and the boat house does great food (even though its at the other side of salou, near golden avenida park)
AQUAPOLIS aquapolis is great...boomeang is one of the best water rides there, and so is splash. we struggled finding somewhere to eat beause there was either big queues, or bad complaints about the food.
CARIBE AND PORT AVENTURA some cracking rides here... tutuki splash, stampida and the silver river flume are great at port aventura, and el torrente, at costa caribe, is just fantastic!
we flew home yesterday, and overall, we had a great holiday!

Cye holiday Centre was brill! The kids enjoyed it very much and were entertained very easily. It wasn't only the kids having fun - there are plenty of activities for the adults including bar crawls and more. The only problem we found was the juice was very watery!

Review of 'CYE HOLIDAY CENTRE'
31 May 2005
Just back from 8 days in Salou. The price for the apartment was very reasonable. There was 5 of us staying and an infant. Thought the location of the apartments were good as we had 2 small children with us and there was no main road near the apartments. The swimming pool area was kept clean and the apartment was cleaned twice a week with changes of bed linen and towles. There was also different shows on every night for the children in the bar area. I will be returning to these apartments again.
