County London

For someone travelling alone on a budget, the County London was certainly a bargain! I was exceedingly pleased with my weekend stay. The hotel is in a popular area, but the street noise was inaudible. The location is great- I could walk everywhere I needed to go and spent my days meandering through Covent Garden, Piccadilly and Trafalgar Square. The British Museum is quite close as well. In regards to the room, I had a standard single to myself and shared a bathroom with only one other guest. My room was well heated, clean and the perfect size for a solo traveller. I visited the bar on my first night and had a tasty meal. Overall, I was content with my stay and will certainly return when in London again!

if i could give it 0. I stayed here on a college trip with students and tutors. Where do i start? 1950's style hotel, corridors are like something out of a horror film, peeling walls, then theres the rooms - one bathroom between 4 bedrooms and the bathrooms are revolting! cracked tiles with mould. no air conditioning, no hot water(if you are lucky enough to get it, it takes about 10 minutes to come through the taps), dirty sheets, dough-like pillows. Breakfast - watered down orange juice, fatty bacon, tasteless sausages, horrible eggs. There is probably more I have forgotten, but just dont stay at this place unless you are extremely desperate.
