What our customers say
The Cosmo hotel is situated in the shadow of Happy Valley race course, a mere 5 minutes from the hustle of Causeway Bay and Times Square. The hotel and its neighbouring big sister (The Cosmopolitan) make sure everything a chi-chi traveller could need is at hand - from a free transfer to and from the Airport Express line, through to any type of pillow under the sun.
Getting around Hong Kong from here is easy - the hotel is right by the Aberdeen Tunnel, making travel to the south (Port Stanley, Aberdeen and Ocean Park) exceedingly simple. There is also a Bus Stop right outside the hotel with routes direct to Admiralty and Central, and the Tram line loops just around the corner, ensuring the easiest of trips to and from any part of Hong Kong island, and facilitating your journey to Kowloon, Lantau or Macau.
Rooms are compact, but they fulfil the purpose perfectly - you never feel cramped or claustrophobic, and they have all the expected cons of much larger chains - from International news and sports channels to high speed internet access, hairdryers, and a fully equipped (and by NY or London standard, cheap as) Mini-bar.
Staff are exceedingly helpful, and there is even free WiFi access in the Lobby. The hotel is also home of a very stylish new bar which is home to a very impressively stocked wine selection from around the world.
Staying at the Cosmo gives you full access to the facilities at the Cosmopolitan, including bars, restaurants, and a foot and body massage centre - although it is more pricey than the average Wan Chai parlour, it is high quality conditions, and open far later (until 2 in the morning), meaning you can hit the town, eat and drink, and come back and be pampered before bed-time.
This is a top alternative to The Peninsula or Landmark hotels for those with a smaller budget but who still want quality and easy access to all that Hong Kong has to offer
