My partner and I have a passion for travel and in March 2005 we decided to discover the beautiful city of Budapest. We decided to book our holiday independantly with, of course the help of alpharooms. Wanting to be centrally located but not having much to spend, the hotel corvin seemed an ideal choice for what we were looking for. After arriving in Budapest we jumped in a taxi and 15minutes later we arrived. First impressions of the hotel - very colourful,clean,friendly. Rooms were quite basic but for a place to 'put your head down' it was ideal. From the hotel your only 5minutes walk away from the metro but take care and ensure you buy your ticket at any booth BEFORE you get on the underground or your end up with a fine as we did! Finding you way back to the hotel is easy as everyone, english speaking or not seemed to know where it was. Overall I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone looking for cheap, central and friendly accomodation, oh and of course breakfast is included! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
