What our customers say
We have just returned from two weeks holiday at this very friendly hotel. The position has to be one of the best in the Coral bay area, right on a beautiful little beach with crystal clear water and soft sand. The views over the sea from the huge balcony was stunning. The apartments were a good size if a little tired, but kept very clean by the staff.Towels were chaged every other day and the sheets every 3 days and the bathrooms were clean and well equipped with a bath and shower, shaving point, good lighting and mirror. The communal areas of the hotel were kept spotlessly clean and the pool area was a joy! Lots of sunloungers, umberallas, tables etc. with space between them so if you wanted a quiet spot it was easy to find. There was a beautifully maintained grass area with more beds/umberallas and shade from palm trees. The beach was just below the pool area and again there were beds and umberallas (local charge of £3 a day) The waiter service around the pool area was a definite bonus, with charming staff fetching drinks, ice creams even meals to your bed! All in all, this was a very enjoyable holiday in a hotel that although getting a little frayed around the edges made up for it's shortcomings with it's position and friendly, efficient staff.
The bus service is excellent, stops right outside the hotel and runs every 15minutes. For 80cents (£1) you can travel as many stops as you want. Coral bay is worth a visit, lots of good restaurants and bars, the cheapest and best food was in Blazing Saddles but right next door was the Elephant restaurant which was more upmarket and served both local and international cuisine. Paphos harbour and also the old town with a charming little market are worth a visit. The mosaics of Dionysis right on the harbour were amazing and the Tomb of the Kings mind boggling. It's probably worth hiring a car if you want to see the sights and travel a little further afield but for a relaxing, restorative holiday the Corallia Beach Hotel would be hard to beat. It's one let down was the food. There was not much choice on some evenings and sometimes the food was not hot but the salad bar and the puddings made sure we didn't starve!
All in all I would say this hotel represents very good value for money and I would be quite happy to return.
