good position

stayed here last week and it was in a good position, but the apartments need updating. Little things mostly like not having a rack in the oven and the bathroom door frame hanging off, no one in reseption cared. Apart from that it was clean and you could always get a sunbed, it was'nt packed like some places and the food was good.Would use again as you have everything you want around you.

Very central location,rooms clean and maids very friendly,entertainment ok but went to a fantastic club called divine soul with the best entertainment I have seen for a long time. The acts were out of this world,four tops,temptations, supremes and could book a table all week to ensure we got a seat with waitress service so didnt have to go to the bar. Beautiful place,very classy and no admission fee, will definitely be going back as it made our holiday!

Staff very friendly, helpful, supportive and efficient. Food excellent. Rooms clean tidy and functional. Would recommend it to all as a great place to stay. Location great close to all amenities and excellent beach. Only drawback would be the pool, could be dangerous, no shallow end, though there is a full time life gaurd

Excellent location, just back stayed there May 2008, nice place pleasent and very helpful staff both on reception and at pool bar, very clean and tidy, and very reasonably priced for what you're getting, definitely stay there again, I travel to Tenerife quite often and thoroughly enjoy this place.

its absolutely brill!!!!!!not to mention spottless clean,loved our stay here,
just 1problem,be so careful with ur personal belongins b-coz we went on a day out n t maids were in cleaning,when we got bak our dad had left his wedding ring in the droor.it had been taken and not returned!that was the only bad thing.
and no window/air in the bathroom!
but its situated greatly in the heart of everything,
beach jus seconds away,shops eveywere as you step out!

Excellent location with everthing close to hand. Apartment was clean and roomy with all the basic kitchen equipment. The Happy Days Pub on site does great food and shows all the footie,great staff nothing was to much trouble. Surfers Bar around the corner has very cheap beer and excellent food. All in all great value for money.

To be honest I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Hotels and only really like 4 or 5 star rated ones. But if you are looking for a good deal this is not a bad place to go. All the facilities are on hand in the hotel, and the rooms are large and kept clean. Thre complex is perfectly situated for a short walk into both Los Christianos and Playa de las Americas, with a large shopping complex directly opposite. The real bonus point are the staff. They will do anything to help at any time and are always smiling. Been back 3 times to date.

Absolutely 100%. The best place on the planet, I would definitely rate these apartments, there is everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable relaxing time here, I could just go on forever. But to sum this place up in one word, Awesome. Have been there twice and would be back like a shot this year but finances dictate, so hopefullynext year and this is where I will be staying. A big shout to Norrie behind the bar at Happy Days II. Try it you'll love it.

I go to Tenerife every year and stay in Compostela Beach each year. This apartment complex is very clean, tidy, welcoming and is situated in a perfect area for it is literally 2 minutes away from the beach, shops, bars and exceptional restaurants where all ages are welcome. The staff at the complex were very nice and helpful and completed there work greatly at all hours of the day. I would recommend Compostela Beach to anyone who wants to have a great time.

Having just stayed recently at the Compostela Beach Apartments, I.e. 3 weeks ago, the accommodation is very good, clean and tidy, you got a large supply of clean bedding and clean towels, even the day before we were due to fly home, we got a change of linen/towels. The pool is cleaned daily and is a large enough pool to have a good swim in. Also you have a selection of bars to chose from, we used the Happy Days bar, which supplied us with drinks,(Happy Hour every day), breakfast and other snacks. This is an english bar and all the staff were very friendly, giving us advice on where the best places to go. The location is very good, the supermarket on site was very cheap, and they sold english newspapers and magazines.

Just came back from the compostela beach apartments.18th August-1st September.
Its on the border of Las Americas and Los Christianos, 100 yds from the beach.
From the outside the apartments look OK, but in the corridors and lift areas, the apartments look like a tenement block, and are in urgent need of attention.
We stayed in Block 5, and we found the first week very noisy in the early hours of the morning, (3am) as people coming back from the clubs.
We hired a private apartment, which was 2 bedrooms, and was clean and had a large balcony, although the apartment, needed upgrading a little, as patio doors didn`t close and there where no locks also on the doors, but these were repaired after seeing the agent.
The pool area was large ( No shallow end for the kids, and slippy) but there was ample sun beds, but you could not get a bed before 9am as guard unlocked them, but you could still get one upto 10am.
Two bars at the hotel Happy days 2 (Very good for sports if you like foot), Food and drinks very cheap 1 euro 75 for a beer, and wide range of food at good prices.
Other bar was a 2 for 1 but the drinks were dearer and not as good, although they did have evening entertainment on your usual Flamenco dancers etc.
All in all a good hotel, not 4 star as some travel agents say, but probabaly 2-3, i would go back again, but it would have to be outside the school holidays.

my husband and I have been to Tenerife quite often and have stayed and these apartments for the lasy 3 years. We like to stay in a certain location within the complex and the staff try their best to accommodate to us. Complex is always very clean and with good supermarkets. Security staff are also excellent. We find the location excellent, the immediate surrounding area is quite flat, location for beach excellent, reception area staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, they go out of their way to help you. We have recommended these apartments to friends who have also stayed there and thoroughly enjoyed their holidays.

Centrally situated apartments. 2 mins from beach and across the road from the start/end of main shopping area. Quite area, but near some good restaurants. Large pool area for sunbathing. Apartments were very clean and pool area clean. 2 bars and snack bars on site serving cheap good food. I would visit these apartments again.

The apartments were basic but really nice. The duplex effect in our apartment gave us alot of room and loads of space for our stuff.the beach was only 2 minutes walk away which was great. A taxi to the strip was about 5 minutes and cost approx €6.If i was going back to Tenerife i would def go back to Compostella Beach.

Got back from the compostela beach resort on 5 May 05, had a brilliant time in tenerife, went for 14 days and would recommend anyone to go there, old,young and people with childrem. shopping is fantastic, nike shop up the road,Zara directly opposite and Mango up the road. Went with my boyfriend. The appartment was decorated quite standard but was very clean, cleaner came every day and changed linen and towels about 3 times a week. You can eat expensivly or very cheap depending on where you go (just a bit of common sense really) hotel bar (happy days II) was reasonable priced, i read loads of reviews b4 going that were quite poor so thought i would share my positive views with everyone. would defo go back there, would even stay at same place - had top floor appartment with stairs to bedroom and bathroom and sea view - pool was clean and only slippy if you sprinted across tile ( only fools would do that anyway) - met a lovely guy who owns Footballers Wives bar on sea front - drove to las Gigantes and had a wonderful mixed grill fish for 2, cost 22euros and could've fed 6 people, was first restaurant you get to when you go to harbour.. plenty to do, beach was clean and beautiful and only about a minutes walk away... all in all a fantastic holiday, oh and boiling hot, was in the 80's every day, found it was cloudy b4 noon and then all clouds disapeared after then (enough time to have breakfast and start heading to beach or pool) ..just want to say, ignore those bad reviews and have a great holiday.

We have just returned from a 2 week Easter Holiday at Compostella Beach Apartments and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the location is absolutely perfect only minutes from the beach and there's a multitude of local shops / bars and restaurants right on the doorstep, Perfect.
As it was early April the weather was still a little unsettled and it absolutely chucked it down for a full day and half but the trick of buying an umbrella soon stopped it raining! The pool area is very good and the sunbeds were locked up each night to stop people reserving them. The pool was unheated but was still quite warm for the time of year.
On site there are are 2 Restaurants / bars but we only visited one of them, "Malibu" bar the food was pretty good and happy hour (2 drinks for the price of 1) seemed to last all day and night!
Our room was very clean and well maintained, nothing "posh" but more than adequate, we were given a room at the back of the complex overlooking a small road, it was very quiet and probably better than overlooking the pool and bars as there could have been late night disturbances.
The area where Compostela Apartments are situated is excellent although some of the shops were a little too up market for everyday shopping, Prada, Dolci & Gabbani etc. In that area there was non of the loutish behaviour sometimes seen in Playa de Las Amerias.
We would definetly reccomend the Compostela Apartments and definetly recommend AlpahRooms as your booking agents.

The apartments are very basic and the whole complex is well overdue for a makeover. The apartments could be noisy if you did not a one that overlooked the pool. The good points were the pool area, there were always plenty of beds to be had throughout the day. The pool did not have a shallow end so you could not stand up in any area, which was not a problem for us but could be for families with younger children. The reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The location was excellent, with a good selection of shops and restaurants. For the beach lovers it would be an ideal location.

this was the very first time i went abroad never been on a plane in my life and at 36 with a 13 yr old child who had never flown either was a bit scary. well lets get 2 the point we stayed here and after being awake for 40 hours and really tired i left work behind for a week.got off the plane and couldnt wait to sleep, got to hotel it was fab really clean, reception staff brill pool area spotless going back there for deff try it u will love it. p.s it must of done something to my b briend as he proposed an i said yes. maybe have honeymoon there xx
