Comfort Inn Bayswater

11 June 2007
The hotel was very small and very basic. A basic continental breakfast is provided. It was 5 minute stroll to the nearest underground (Bayswater) The catering staff were friendly but I think that's all I can say!

We found the hotel excellent;  the rooms may a bit on the small side (I am big!), but they were b
clean and light.   The B&B restaurant was  also excellent and the staff worked wonders every morning.   The hotel is well located - near bus & tube, shops & restaurants.   We will definetly go there again.

Not a Good Choice

I know how difficult it is to decide on a hotel with so many to choose from.  When you don't know the area and there are so many that sound similar it is very difficult to decide.  Well..Let me help you.  I don't think you will find a smaller room anywhere (even in London)or a room this or a room with a smaller shower.  Worst of all the room had one window that faced into another room so you couldn't even open the drape.  There wasn't enough space to put your suitcase and walk thru the room at the same time.  Worst of all the people weren't friendly.  The elevator was not working the entire time and that was one reason I booked.  These things happen but it was very obvious they weren't even trying to have it fixed.  They basically just put a sign up and left it on the elevator and kept saying it was being worked on but I never saw anyone working on it.  The electricity was out in half the hotel while we were there and when I asked to leave and get a refund because of the elevator and electricity they refused.  Don't stay here.  There are tons of better places all over town including this area.

Review of 'COMFORT INN BAYSWATER'

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for: cheap, clean, tidy, friendly and with all the basic amenities we required (including tea and coffee making facilities in our room!).  A basic continental breakfast is provided. It was a short 5 minute stroll to the nearest underground (Bayswater) which made travel into central London quick and easy. The hotel itself was situated in a quiet residential square, 5 minutes walk from the local shops, pubs and restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to a couple who are planning to enjoy the wealth of sights and attractions in London, wanting a nice, quiet retreat after a long tiring day.
