What our customers say
The hotel it self was remarkably clean and well maintained. The staff on reception were extremely friendly but somewhat other-worldly as they seemed to float around customers with minimal interactions. The room was small and quaint but was exactly what we required. The en-suite facility was very mordern and practical for those who on tight schedule. On the whole the only downsides to this basic hotel were the breakfast and the location. The breakfast was extremely basic that only had a faint sense of a Parisian element to it. The breakfast area is small and often cramped. The only French touch really is a ample supply of croissants, then your faced a a un-desirable choice of instant hot chocolate (of course you have the pleasure of making it), everyday kellogg's cereals and baguettes with spreadable cheese. For the 8 euro breakfast charge I would consider other options if not pressed for time. The location of the hotel we found to be both good and very bad. The hotel is situated beside two metro stations so it is very easy to travel around paris and to find your way back. The location's main down point is that it feels like a gangster "ghetto" to put it bluntly. On two occasions my girlfriend and myself were approached by strangers asking for cigarettes, which made it a uncomfortable experience for both of us, and quite frankly left feeling rather vunerable. This hotel is most definately suited for young couples on short stays. I dont think it would be my first choice in returning to Paris but that is strictly down to the local area.
