These apartments were fantastic,Really ideal for family's young or old. Your living area which were huge was upstairs with ur balcony, down stairs was ur sleeping area 2 huge rooms with 2 bathroom/showers loads of storage 4 ur belongs ,Cleaners were fantastic , 2 girls in reception could'nt do enough 2 help you greeted you everytime wit a smile. the bar stead open til midnight maybe a little after,food was lovely, plus had laundry room which was great. Childrens pool was'nt great very small and shallow but you can use the Fariones ones aswell, apartments were right in the middle of old and new town. we are a young couple with 4 children and i would recommend these apartments to any1 who is going 2 lanarote and would go back again.

Big Clean Apartments. Room around the pool for everyone. No kiddies pool though. The bar closed every evening at 5:30. No amount of attempts to talk to the manager worked. He just wasn't interested.

These apartments were great, very clean and loads of room. But one thing I will warn you about is if there is still a barmaid there called Rosanne form Scotland.... hold onto your husband / boyfriend!!

I stayed a Club de Mar with a few friends just at the end of the summer last year it was a great holiday. I would love to go back to these apartments.

Me and my friend booked an allocation on arrival holiday in oct 2005. We have stayed in many of the apartments in Puerto del Carmen but Club de Mar has been the best so far. we are going back in march 06.

Review of 'CLUB DE MAR'

My wife and I stayed at the Club De Mar from the 10th to the 24th March, 2005.
The apartments were ideally situated, as they were equi distant from the Old Town and the Strip being approximately 5/6 mins to either.
The apartments wee kept very clean and there was maid service on 12 of the 14 days, and on these days we had clean towels as well as cleaning. All the staff, including reception, maids and maintenance men were all very friendly, with a cheery "ola" when you met them. The lady who appeared to be the cleaning supervisor, Senora Maribel Montelango Betancort, was one of the most pleasant people I have ever met on holiday anywhere, and she even spoke a reasonable standard of English. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and she was always smiling and greeted everyone very cordially.
The apartments were very spacious and comfortable, with two bathrooms, one to each of the two bedrooms. There was a balcony upstairs with a table and four chairs and downstairs a patio area, which was just beside the pool.
The staff in the little bar/restaurant were also very good and if there was a down side, it was that the bar only was open to 5.30 during our first week, but this then changed during the second week to 12.00 midnight.
I could certainly recommend this accommodation and would have no hesitation in going back again.
