Review of 'Claris'

Don't be put off this small modern hotel from how it looks on the outside. The entrance is behind the frontage of the street in sort of a courtyard. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, clean and modern, the bathroom huge. Excellent continental breakfast with extras not normally provided - scrambled eggs, sausages, pastries and doughnuts(!). The area around the hotel is quiet but not far from centre (15 mins walk). Metro and tram service VERY easy to use. We bought a 3 day pass from the airport (£5 each)and used it all the time, for the sake of our feet! and even used it to get back to the airport. Prague is a really beautiful city - make sure you take some comfy shoes as most of the streets are cobbled - leave the high heels at home!
