The hotel is modern, clean, and extremely well located in the city, when they say it overlooks the river, they mean it. It was easy to get to and the car park below the hotel was extremely convenient, especially when you have an excited 2 year old with you.
All the staff were great, both friendly and helpful, especially with our daughter.
Our room was fantastic - we did get a bit of an upgrade to one of the rooms with a balcony which overlooked the river - I would really recommend asking for one of these rooms as some of the others seemed to face onto the internal atrium.
The breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfasts I've had, although it was expensive if not included in the rate you pay.
Both the restaurants served really nice food, but again was expensive - we did eat in the hotel, but that was more due to the fact that there aren't many restaurants on the doorstep, if we hadn't had our daughter with us we probably would have eaten out somewhere cheaper.
We didn't get a chance to use the spa, only the swimming pool, which was really nice - however, the children's swimming pool was too cold.
Overall I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.
