The Chaba Cabana Beach Resort and Spa is located on the peaceful northern section of the white sands of Chaweng beach and is in the immediate vicinity of countless restaurants. Night owls are recommended to visit the nightclubs situated about 500 m from the hotel, while the town centre can be reached on foot in about a 15-minutes walk along the beach. It is roughly 5 km to Koh Samui airport. Renovated in 2003 and air-conditioned throughout, this hotel consists of three buildings with between two and three storeys as well as single-storey villas, with a total of 80 rooms including two suites. Guests are welcomed in the inviting lobby where there is a 24-hour reception desk and a safe where guests may deposit valuables for the duration of their stay. Facilities on offer include a small supermarket and a selection of shops. Dining options here include a cafe, a bar, and a restaurant serving international and Thai cuisine, with highchairs available for children. In the evenings, guests may relax in the cosy TV lounge or in the in-house nightclub, while younger visitors can let off steam in the playground or the kids' club. The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and a hairdryer. In the grounds of the hotel there is an outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool with a poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use on the sun terrace. Furthermore, it is possible to make use of the Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium and a range of massage and spa offerings in the massage centre.
