What our customers say
We stayed during Mid May 2008 and previously during a winter period. The contrast is enormous. It appears young persons on holiday from schools on the mainland have a run of the resort. The Martinez area where the better type of hotels are situated as is the Catalonia. Several disotecs in very close proximity assisted by spontaneous outbreaks of druming in the streets resulted in no sleep for the first two nights until about 5.30am. The hotel apologised and gave us a less exposed room facing the sea. however this was penetrated by constant deep bass sounds. This is ideal for the 18 to 30 group who will relax on the saltwater lagoon throughout the day in preparation to going to the med in August. The hotel staff indicated they had made representation to the Mayors office with no result. The periods affected are from May to July when the students return home presumably exhausted. The resort can be accessed from Tenerife south airport by the number 340 operates hourly and purchase of a 12 euro bono card is great value. Good value , kind and attentive mature staff.
