Booked this hotel pretty much last minute because it was the only hotel we could afford in the la carrihuela part of the resort. We were a bit worried about some of the comments, particularly as we were arriving after midnight. Because of the reviews I emailed alpharooms in advance with my concerns about sleeping on the reception floor! Alpharooms contacted the supplier and replied within an hour and true to their word we had no problem checking in. Very impressive - this is why I use Alpharooms and don't book with other companies who were doing this accomodation a couple of pounds cheaper.
The view from all rooms and the pool is spectacular.
The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and the comment about it not having been touched since 1950's is unfair in that the hotel was built in the 1970's!
I was worried about having dead carcroeds in my room (even though I have no idea what a carcroed is!!!). However, no bugs at all in this hotel.
The pool area is very well kept and enjoys spectacular views.
You can access all rooms without having to go up or down a single step if you enter by the car park. However this is a huge hotel and you will need to do a lot of walking.
We will definately be back at this excellent value for money hotel.
