The Hotel Casa 400, open exclusively in the summer, is the largest summer hotel in Amsterdam. During this period the hotel’s four hundred guest rooms offer each visitor en-suite facilities, TV and telephone, plus all the amenities you would expect from a hotel in this class. The hotel is located beside the Amstel station with speedy connections to the city centre, giving great access to the city’s cultural quarter and tourist attractions. The hotel has a restaurant & bar upstairs, ready to serve you snacks, drinks or delicious meals. There is also a communal sun terrace and lobby where guests often mingle. The hotel has its own souvenir shop and their reception is open twenty-four hours a day. The hotel conference centre comprises eleven meeting rooms of which some can be joined to create a spacious function area, with a capacity of up to one hundred and eighty people. Each room has air conditioning and the option of any necessary audio/visual aids. There is also a catering option for business functions, which, as with the rest of the conference centre, is available all year round. Public parking is available from in front of the Casa 400 Hotel.

i do realise that the hotel is one of the cheapest in overated and expensive amsterdam but i dont consider it value for money in comparison with hotels in this country and the rooms were not only very basic and dreary but they never even had the usual tea bags and coffee with mini kettles which i thought was pretty standard.food in the hotel was below average outside the breakfast which was ok.dont wish to fault the staff who were often helpful
