This was a last minute booking due to travel changes. We found the  accommodation very satisfactory - although basic - it did meet all our requirements. It was only 400 - 500 yards to where we were able to visit friends. As part of the Cala Marina Hotel we had access to all amenities. There is a Supermecado (Supermarket) close by & more than ample restaurants within walking distance, located around the small beach & bay at La Cala, Finstrat.

Excellent accomodation  very clean and peaceful.
For the price I have not seen better.
Down the street you are on a beautiful beach.
Close to bars Restaurants shops.
Would reccomend it to anyone.

firstly & most important if travelling to the accomodation by bus or taxi go to the calas marina hotel to collect the keys to your apartement as the taxi driver and his base station did not have a clue where they were (when leaving hotel turn right, first right then 100yrds on right is the apts.  

the accomodation is basic but clean there is a microwave but no
kettle or toaster if you need a towel change ask at hotel as they wont if you dont. the area is very quiet but if you want to go to town or the lavante end walk up to the taxi rank at the
top of the road or crossover the road at the rear of the bili hotel and get a number five bus to old town or number twelve to
to levante or rincon end. all in all a very relaxing week with an adequet and peaceful base.

The apartments were basic but very clean and comfortable.  Just a short walk from the lovely beach and close to buses, taxi rank and cafes and restaurants.   I think the only problem would arise if anyone was not too fit as everywhere is quite hilly.  For the price I could not find a fault.  When looking for the apartments remember they are next to the Calas Marina Hotel (nice hotel with cafe and pool) - our taxi driver drove around for at least ten minutes trying to find the apartments!   La Cala de Benidorm is a lovely little haven away from the hustle and bustle of Benidorm and very popular with the Spaniards themselves. We would use the apartments again.
