Sept 08 - Just got back from Cala D'or Park apartments, Had a fantastic time in Cala D'or, lots to do and some great entertainment. The first two rooms we viewed were not good at all, one had an adjoining door to the room next door that had the key hole bunged up with loo roll, fortunately before we had unpacked we heard the people next door chatting, you could hear every word they said. We asked to be moved and were offered another room but the lines of ants in the room was awful. The third room was fine, nice outlook over the pool, very basic though with not really enough utensils and pans etc to really be self catering. The staff were really great, reception staff couldn't do enough for us. The place really could do with some money throwing at it but for what we paid it was fine and comfy. Tropical gardens are only a stones throw away and if 'ABBA again' are on you need to see them as they were a real good laugh and actually showed talent. Cala D'or Park apartments are in an ideal location though as you're near to all the entertainment, a short walk to beaches and to the resort centre.
