Ceasar Review

26 February 2008
This was a very modern hotel, very clean and minimalistic in style. The room was very small but adequate for what we needed. The staff were polite and fairly helpful. We paid for breakfast and were a little dissappointed as breakfast consisted of some croissants, bread rolls, fruit jucie and tea and if you wanted anything additonal it would be additional costs, i.e. £5.50 for a full English and an additional £2.50 if you wanted access to the continental buffet. The hotel wasnt badly situated in the vicinity of hyde park and about 5 to 10 mins from the nearest tube staion, Lancaster Gate. It was a fairly quiet area and minimal noise.

A modern hotel where decor and furnishing is minimalist. Our room was small and best described as functional, it was however clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had the usual tea making facilities but there was enough for 2 drinks and no more. Room service is always an option but better to make sure there is sufficient in the first place. English breakfast costs extra but was well cooked and generally the breakfats were more than adequate.
The position of the hotel was good, with a short walk to the nearest tube station and many places to eat nearby.
I do not believe the hotel is realistically a 4* hotel, its main problem being a lack of space.

After staying in several 4* hotels in London, we weren't expecting too much from this one. However, we were pleasantly suprised by the Ceasar. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The reception area was modern, clean and well looked after. This ran throughout the hotel. The room was no exception. It was clean (unlike many London hotels) and very modern. The bathroom was a little small and only had a shower, WC and sink. The only problem we had with the hotel was that our room was situated next to the staff and kitchen quaters which were a little noisy at night. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and would definately stay there again.
