My boyfriend and I who are currently working in Cyprus at the mo found we had some time off so decided to visit the east of the Island. On a budget we found the Cactus but were a bit dubious after reading the customer reviews but were very pleasantly surprised.
In a quieter part of Cyprus it is a short walk from the Mackenzy Beach and about a 15 min from the town although there are some lovely restaurants around the Hotel.
The room was clean and tidy and the air con worked which was good! The only negative thing I have to say is there was not much more than a dribble coming from the shower. Breakfast was pleasant too
The pool was lovely and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Those of you that have written really negative reviews need to look a bit deeper- pay more if you want luxury!!
